Chapter 7.

I ran home crying that night.
How could he do that? He loved me. But he lied. She lied. I was so confused.
I wanted to lie down and never get up. Never see his stupid lying face again.
I never wanted to talk to him.
Ever.

I stopped at the bus sign and sat down crying as rain started to fall.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid
Liar, Cheater, stupid.." I whispered repeatedly.
The tears burned my cheeks and my throat. Everything hurt inside.

I went to Opal's that night.
"Oh my lord, Alexi. How could he?!" Opal screamed.
"I-I-I don't.. Know" I choked up.
"He is going to die."  Opal growled.
I just laid down and curled up.
Opal brought junk food and ice cream.
"C'mere." Opal said pulling me up.
She gave me a bowl of ice cream and marshmallows on top.
Just what I needed.

I stayed at her house until morning.
We woke up with messy hair.
I was glad it was Saturday. I didn't have to deal with the liars. I left her house and walked down to the market.
I looked around for groceries as I saw Jason. He was alone though.
He saw me and walked over. I wanted to scream.
"Hey Lexi!" Jason said  happily
"Leave me alone." I said
"What's wrong?" He asked like nothing happened.
"Can we talk outside?" I asked calmly.

After doing our shopping we walked together at the park.
"What did you do last night?" I asked.
"Uh... Nothing." He stammered and lied.
"Really?" I said impatiently. "Or were you with Olive?!"
Jason stuttered trying to speak up but went silent.
After a few long minutes of silence he spoke up.
"You saw, didn't you." He sighed.
"Yes. Why?!" I yelled.
"Alexi! It wasn't my fault! She kissed me f-" Jason stammered.
"Your lying!" I screamed and interrupted him.
"I'm not!" He tried to stay calm.
"Yes you are! I know you are! You always loved her!" I screamed
I could feel my face getting hot.
"Alexi! Please believe me!" Jason pleaded.
"I'M NOT GOING TO BE YOUR DOORMAT ANYMORE!" I screamed.
"FINE! YOU WERE NOTHING TO ME ANYWAY!" Jason yelled.
I could feel tears streaming down my face. I didn't want to talk to him anymore.
I turned around and ran away. Jason bit his lip and tried going after me but I was gone already.

I skidded down the street at night as it started raining again.
"I HATE YOU!" I screamed even though no one heard me.
I could barley see anything. My breathing got heavier as I ran.
I jumped off the sidewalk and heard noises thinking there just church bells.
I saw lights coming towards me.

Suddenly the world went black.
