Chapter 3.

I woke up uneasy.
Yesterday kept me up a night thinking about Jason. How could Jason even show affection to that she-demon?!
Even though, yesterday he sounded really pissed off. Something was bothering him.

"Opal?" I said.
Opal sighed. "Yes?"
"Something is bothering Jason." I stammered.
"Yeah.. He sounded really mad at Olive" Opal said "but hey, let's just get there and see what happens."

I walked in as I lowered my head.
Jason ran up to me.
"Hey..Alexi? Im sorry if Olive is harassing you." Jason said.
I lifted my head and stared into his chocolate brown eyes.
"I-It's okay. She's been a pest to me all the time." I calmly said even though my heart was thumping like an earthquake.
"Oh and hey, your really beautiful." Jason smiled and petted my head.
Beautiful?
He just called me Beautiful?
I nearly fainted, no died right there.
"T-Thanks.." I said.
He nodded and walked away to his buddies.

Opal squealed in delight.
"He TOTALLY likes you Lex!" Opal said bouncing up and down.
We were at lunch and I was already super excited.
I smiled as he walked in.
He smiled back and waved but Olive pulled him away.
He totally likes me.

At the end of the today I walked home alone. Opal had viola lessons so I was not with her. Someone grabbed my shoulder.

I spun around as Jason stepped back.
"Jason! What are you doing here?" I could feel my heart thumping again.
"I just wanted to say... Me and Olive aren't together anymore." Jason scratched the back of his head.

I just fainted right there.
