"Candles"

Y/n's POV

"Why are we in here?" You asked walking into Bath N Body Works. "Cause it's a fun place! Smells good as well." Oikawa says following behind you, "Um...well do you need anything here?" You asked turning to him. He grabbed a candle and took a sniff, you sighed and grabbed a basket.

"Come on Y/n! Let's smell more of these, they just came out with a new collection!" He says grabbing your hand and leading you to the other side.

"Oikawa...you'll get a headache.." You said as he went through all of the candles. "I like this one, smell it!" He says handing you a candle, "That's my perfume scent." You said pointing to the perfume named Lavender. "Really? Well this one is a candle version so let's get it!" He says placing the candle in the basket.

"I feel lightheaded..." Oikawa groans sitting down on a bench, "I told you, let's just rest for a bit." You said sitting down next to him. "We should go look for your suit next." You said taking a sip of your lemonade, "Where did you get that?" He whined. You pointed to a vending machine, "Can I have a sip??" He asks leaning over to you. You sighed and handed him the bottle.

You waited outside of the dressing room after picking out 3 suits.

"How do I look?"

You looked up to see Oikawa in a navy blue suit, "That one's nice." He turns and looked in the mirror. "I like this once as well, I'll go try the others on." He then left back into the dressing room.

The black suit was too big and you bursted out laughing when the maroon suit didn't fit him.

"Okay okay...I'm good.." You said wiping your tears, "Not funny." He mumbled.

He handed you a bunch of dresses for you to try on. "Oikawa...I don't feel like trying this much on.." You said walking to the changing room. "Just try on the ones you like!" He says sitting down on the waiting chair, you groaned and shut the dressing room door.

After trying on what felt like millions of dresses, you came out in a  f/c dress.

He looks up and his eyes widen, "That's..really nice.." He says smiling a little. "I think it's nice, not too much or too little." You said looking in the mirror, "Let's get this one then!" You nod and went back into the dressing room.

Oikawa's POV~

I heard the door open and looked up. She was a beauty. The word beautiful and gorgeous came in my head but I couldn't say that. I was in love with Maria and it would be almost like cheating on her if I said that to Y/n.

"That's...really nice." Was all I was able to say.

I felt a smile creep up on my face as she twirled around her dress.

Cute.....I thought.

(Y/n's POV)

"Do I really have to go..?" You groaned walking out of the shop, "I already told my parents I'm bringing someone, too late now." He says following behind you. "Why do we have to wear this fancy stuff anyways? Can't we just eat at home or something?" You asked holding up the bag.

"Well first of all, it's my dad's birthday. His co-workers will be there as well so it has to be a bit formal." He answers, "But we aren't official, so doesn't mean I'm your girlfriend." You said. "Right...we'll just pretend then- well we are but you know." He says shrugging his shoulders.

(Oikawa's dad's birthday)

You shut the door behind you and turned to see Oikawa in his suit, his hair was nicely done and you felt your face get red. "You look nice." He says giving you a smirk, "You too." He chuckles and held your hand leading you to the car.

"So this is the girl you've been talking about." His mom says turning around as you fasten your seatbelt. "I'm Y/n, lovely to meet you." You said shaking her hand, "You guys look nice together, Oikawa...treat her well." His dad said before starting the car and driving to the restaurant.

"So expensive.." You whispered leaning over to Oikawa, "The food's good though, what are you getting?" He asks looking away from the menu.

"Well what are you?" You asked, he pointed to a bowl of fried rice, "I'll just have that as well then.." You said.

Soon his dad's co-workers arrived and you introduced yourself as "Oikawa's girlfriend", "Oikawa can be a bit annoying sometimes but he's still cute." You chuckled. "That's right, you just can't resist this cute face can you?" He says pouting.

You lightly slapped his face and went back to the conversation.
