Acnologia's Son - NaLu - TEMPORARILY DISCONTINUED

Chapter 1

Lucy walked into her regular restaurant and took a seat. All of the chefs and waiters sweatdropped as soon as they saw her because of her reputation for eating all of their stocks. The only reason they haven't kicked her out is that, with the amount of food she eats, their paycheck is bound to be increased. Lucy was sitting down and looking out the window as she waited for the waiter to come so she could order when she heard someone through the window.

"Did you hear? Salamander is in town! He's at the town square right now!" one girl said with excitement and love in her voice.

'Salamander? Igneel!' Lucy thought as she continued to listen to the girls' conversation for more information.

"Oh my god! Let's go check it out, I've been in love with him ever since I can remember!" The other girl exclaimed.

'They're in love with him? Ew.'

Lucy got up just as the waitress came over to taker her order and gave her apologies.

"I'm sorry but I have to get going." The waitresses and chefs and breathed a sigh of relief as they watched Lucy walk out the restaurant doors.

Lucy secretly followed the girls to the town square. Once they arrived, she jumped on to one of the buildings above a crowd surround a man with dark blue hair. He was facing away from her so she couldn't see his face.

Suddenly, he raised his hands and waved at the girls in the crowd and something caught Lucy's eye.

On his right hand, he had two rings. One was a love charming ring and the other was a sleep charm ring.
In a swift motion, Lucy jumped down from the roof and stood right in front of the man, inches from his face. She growled lowly and looked him straight in the eyes. Salamander got a shiver down his back and backed away in fear.

"Take off your rings." A voice from the crowd said. Lucy looked over to where the voice came from and noticed a man standing in a dark gray cloak that connected the two points around his neck with what looked like large shark teeth. He had shoulder-length spiky pink hair which was tied in a low ponytail. Not many people look good in pink hair but he somehow pulled it off. He has dark blue scar like marks on his cheeks (like Acnologia has in his human form) and his dark onyx eyes were narrowed on the coward in front of her while he had a bored expression on his face.

"What?" Salamander asked nervously.

"You're using charm magic on these ladies. If you take the rings off then either we'll be proved right, or you'll be proven innocent." Lucy said with a glare. All of the girls in the crowd were looking at him with expectant looks. He chuckled nervously until he glared at the cloaked man.

Suddenly, a ball of fire was sent flying past Lucy and straight towards the man. She wasn't too worried when she saw him jump out of the way until she noticed a blue cat-like figure standing in the direct line of fire with terrified eyes.

"Happy!" The cloaked man yelled from the side.
Just as the fire was about to hit him, Lucy got there in time to use her body to protect him. The blue cat was shaking in Lucy's arms while she just ate the disgusting flames provided by the fire mage. She heard retreating footsteps behind her and looked to see the Salamander running but then being caught and beaten to a pulp by the pink-haired man.

Sighing in relief, she looked down at her arms to see the once shaking ball of fur now passed out in her arms. She looked up again when she saw the silhouette of a person standing in front of her and came face to face with Mr. Mystery. Their eyes locked and he glared at her.

"Happy." He said simply.

"What?" She replied, confused.

He rolled his eyes and pointed at the kitten sleeping in her arms. "That's Happy," She nodded in understanding. "Now wake him up."
