Why Didn't You Tell Me?

I just got home from the hospital,it's 10 pm and I am exhausted but I can't fall asleep. It's the first night in a long time that Santana has not been next to me and I feel so lonely. I start crying a little but stopped myself before I started sobbing. I finally fall asleep but that didn't last too long. 2 hours later I wake up sweating and crying from a nightmare. I grab my phone and call Santana praying she answers "Amelia are you ok it's 1 a.m." Santana asks "I-I had a nightmare and I feel so lonely without you." I cry "oh baby! It's ok, how about you go sleep with sterling and then I'll come over to drive you to school tomorrow." Santana says "o-okay...I love you." I say "aww baby I love you too." Santana says before hanging up. I tiptoe into Sterlings room and shake him a little "S-Sterling?" I mumble "what's the matter Am?" He asks "I had a nightmare c-can I sleep with you?" I ask as I start to cry again "aww Amelia come here, of course you can sleep with me." Sterling says pulling me into his bed and wrapping his strong arms around me. "I've got you." He says kissing my forehead and pulling the blanket over me. "I love you Sterling." I whisper. "I love you too Ami bear." Sterling says. I drift off into a deep sleep and I don't wake up until morning. "Wake up Am's it your first day back to school." Sterling says "mmm I don't want to!" I groan "to bad!" Sterling says hitting me with a pillow. "Fine." I say before getting up and walking into my room. I take a shower and put my hair in two French braids. I put on my Cheerios uniform and letterman jacket before looking in the mirror with a smile. I walk down the stairs and see Santana sitting at my kitchen table. "Oof girl you are smokin' hot." Santana says grabbing my hands. I look at her and giggle. She makes me gay panic sometimes. "You're the one who's smoking hot babe." I whisper in her ear. "Ok enough flirting girls sit down and eat some breakfast please." My mom jokes "this isn't over baby girl." I whisper. I watch her get all flustered as I sit down. Santana and I finish breakfast and then throw my Cheerios backpack over my shoulder and head out the door with my fingers interlocked with Santana's "I can't wait to see the glee club. I really miss singing with everyone." I smile getting into the passenger side of Santana's car. "God you're smile makes my heart melt." Santana says making me blush. We get to school and walk into the choir room. "I'm back bitches!" I say as Quinn,Mercedes,and Kurt run to hug me "I missed you so much!" Quinn says "I missed you too Quinny" I say hugging her tightly. After all the hugs I go and sit down on Santana's lap. "Hi baby." She says sweetly "hi mamas." I say kissing her cheek "I like that new nickname." Santana says "maybe I'll have to use it more then huh?" I say seductively "yes please." Santana says getting flustered again. I kiss her on the lips before moving to sit down next to her. "Good morning everyone tomorrow is sectionals and we are leaving today who's excited?" Mr schue says we all cheer and Rachel looks at me with a smile "I can't wait to see the look on the judges faces when Amelia starts singing she's gonna kill it!" She says "aww thanks Hobbit but next time tell me something I don't already know." I say with a smile. I hear people snicker at what I said and Rachel just looks pissed "you know what I was really trying to be nice to you for once but you're just..just." Rachel stutters. "Just..just what is it midget Jew?" I say "Amelia that's enough principals office NOW!" Mrs Schue shouts. "W-what it was a joke." I say nervously. "GO AMELIA!" Mr Schue yells making me flinch. I've never seen him like this before and It reminds me of my abusive ex boyfriend. I grab my backpack and walk out if the of the class room quickly as a whimper escapes my lips. When I get into the hall I start to hyperventilate as memories of ex boyfriend fled my mind. I slide my back down the wall and put my knees to my chest. "Hey hey it's ok Amelia it's ok Mr Schue didn't mean to yell." Brittany says pulling me into a tight hug. "It's not that it's just when Mr Schue yelled at me it remained me of my abusive ex boyfriend." I stutter. "It's ok I'm here for you. Do you want me to get Santana?" Britt says. I nod shakily "ok I'll be right back you stay right there." She says before running into the choir room. Within seconds Santana was by my side. "What happened?" Santana asks. I explain to her what happened and she just held me in her arms kissing the top of my head. "I will never hurt you I hope you know that baby." Santana says "I know and that's why I love you tana." I say kissing her on the lips. Once I calmed down Santana took me into the bathroom to fix my makeup. "Why didn't you tell me about your ex baby?" Santana asks "I didn't want the pity." I say looking at my hands "look at me Amelia does your mom know that your ex abused you?" Santana asks "N-no... please to be mad at me!" I say. "Hey baby look at me I'm not mad at you but you have to tell your mom that's not something you should lock up inside." Santana says grabbing my hands. "W-will come with me when I tell her?" I ask shyly "of course I will!" Santana says before pulling me into a tight hug. I lay my head on her shoulder and Santana rubs circles on my back to comfort me. "I love you Amelia." Santana whispers "I love you too Tana." I say back. Santana and I walk back to the choir room and I apologise to Rachel "R-Rachel?" I say nervously. "If you're here to tell me..." Rachel starts  "Rachel stop! Listen I'm sorry ok I'm sorry for calling you a Hobbit or a midget Jew even if it's true. You might be annoying sometimes and you might make everyone want to slap you in the face every time you open your mouth but I'm sorry!"I shout. "Amelia it's ok I forgive you. Come here." Rachel says with open arms and I melt into her embrace.  When we pull away she looks at me with a confused face "were you crying?" Rachel asks quietly. I nod a little "we'll talk on the plane." Rachel says. I nod before sitting down next to Santana and lay my head on her shoulder. On the bus to the airport I fall asleep on Santana's shoulder. "Hey babe we're at the airport." Santana says kissing my temple. "Ok." I mumble sleepily. I interlock fingers with Santana as we walk into the airport with the glee club. "Hey Amelia who are you sitting next to on the plane?" Quinn asks. "Santana and probably Rachel." I say  Quinn nods as we start walking to our gate. I pull out my phone and call my little sister Maya. She picks up after one ring. "Hey peanut how was school?" I ask "it was good are you at the airport?" Maya asks "yes oh shout I gotta board I'll call you when I get to L.A!"  I say before hanging up and jogging over to Santana and Rachel. "You excited baby?" Santana asks "I'm so excited!" I say with a smile. We get on the plane and I immediately regret letting Rachel sit next to me. "Hey Rachel look the seat next to Finn is open how about you go sit there?" I say kindly "oh ok see you later!" Rachel says before getting up and going to sit next to Finn "Quinn come here the seat next to me is open!" I say. Quinn walks over to me with a smile and sits down next to me. "I thought Rachel was sitting here." Quinn says "'Not anymore now you are." I say. I lay my head on Santana's shoulder and sigh heavily. "You wok baby?" Santana asks me "mhm I'm just tired." I say "you can sleep babe." Santana's says "I love you Santana." I say "I love you too baby girl." Santana says grabbing my hand. I fall asleep on her shoulder and wake up to Santana kissing my neck softly. "Baby we're landing soon." Santana whispers. I rub the sleep out of my eyes and kiss Santana on the lips. "Hi beautiful." Santana says "hi love." I smile. Once the plane lands I grab Santana's hand and we walk off of the plane.  "This is not what I thought my life would look like" I say "what did you think it would look like?" Santana asks "I don't know I thought I'd be depressed and lonely but obviously I was wrong because I met this beautiful, talented, intelligent girl who I soon fell deeply in love with and I've never been happier." I say looking into Santana's eyes. "God I love you!" Santana says kissing me passionately. "I love you too Santana!" I say "I seriously can't get over how perfect you two are for each other!" Finn says. I just blush and look and ground.  "Aww Millie you're so cute when you're embarrassed." Puck teases. "Back off Puckerman she's mine." Santana says with jealousy lacing every word. "Relax baby I'm not going to leave you for whatever that is!" I says with a playful smile. "Hey I'm a person not a thing!" Puck says "yeah yeah whatever, Mohawk!" I say. When we get to the hotel the boys go to their room  and the girls to theirs. After we're all settled in all the girls were just sitting around talking  "I'm so nervous about my solo tomorrow! What if I mess up and we lose because of me?" I  panic pacing around the room. "Amelia stop! Relax you are going to be amazing!" Santana says grabbing my shoulders to stop me from pacing. "I'm just so nervous." I says as a tear rolls down my face. Santana wipes my tear and sits down on the bed next to Quinn before motioning for me to sit on her lap. I sit down and nuzzle into her shoulder and whimper a little. " Millie baby look at me." Santana says "you are going to blow the judges away tomorrow you have nothing to worry about, okay?" Santana says. I nod before laying my head back down on her shoulder. She kisses my forehead and I start to fall asleep until my phone rang scarring the crap out of me. "I'll be right back." I say getting off of Santana's lap. I look at the caller ID and it's Sterling "hello!" I say "hey Mille how's L.A ?" Sterling asks "it's nice, how are thing back at home?" I ask "same old same old, moms at work, Charlotte and Maya are at friends houses and I'm manning the house." Sterling says "cool well the glee girls are summoning me so I gotta go but tell everyone that I say hi and that I love them!" I say "will do! Bye love you!" Sterling says "love you too bye!" I say before hanging up and walking back into the hotel room. "What do you guys need?" I ask "nothing Santana was just whining that you were taking too long." Quinn says "I was gone for literally less than 3 minutes, babe!" I says sitting back down on Santana's lap. "I know but that's too long!" Santana says making me laugh "you're so dramatic!"I joke "I love you princess." Santana says kissing my cheek "I love you more mamas." I whisper in her ear "Millie you know what that does to me."Santana mumbles "I know that's why I do it, I like to see you all flustered. Anyways we never finished what we started earlier." I say "baby stop I can't handle that right now especially when you're straddling my lady loins ." Santana pouts, I can tell that she's pretty turned on and I would be lying if I said I wasn't so me being me I get up grab Santana's hand and announce "I wanna have sex with Santana so go find something to do and I'll text you when you can come back ok good bye!!" I say practically pushing them out the door. "God I love you!" Santana says "I love you more." I say. My life has sucked but knowing I have people that love me as much as Santana does makes it a little bit easier to wake up in morning.
