chapter one: the accident

Claudia's Pov:

I am currently driving in my blue jeep dad gave me. I am on my way to Jason's house to show him and Dylan my new hair.

It is raining and I can not really see where I am going. I am driving when I hit something with my car.

"Shit" I mutter as I climb out of my car to see what it was but there was nothing. I think maby it ran away so I climb back in my car. When I close my door I look in my mirror and see a truck coming straight for me.

I scream and feel it hit my car and everything goes black.

Truck driver Pov:

I was driving when I saw a car in the road standing still. I tried to stop but was not fast enough and hit the car.

I quickly got out of my truck and ran to the car. When I get there I see a girl by the age of what looks like 15 past out and she does not look good.

I call 911 and they come and take her away.

Lydia's Pov:

I was working at the hospital and saw that ther was a new arrival when they open the door I see Claudia lying there. I break down crying and another doctor takes her in to surgery.

I do the only thing I can think of and call everyone and tell them to get to the hospital as fast as possible.

I am sitting in the waiting room bawling my eyes out when I see everyone come through the door. I see Stiles worried as hell and then he sees me crying. They all run to me and ask what happened.

"They say she was hit by a truck and it does not look good" I say while crying. Every one has tears in there eyes and Stiles just hugs me.

TIME SKIP

Stiles Pov:

She has been in surgery for over 3 hours when the doctor finally comes out of the room. We al stand up and he says that she made it out of the surgery and we can she her but it is not looking good.

We al go in the room and see her lying there with a tube down her throat and machines connect to her to keep her alive. I want to fall to the floor and cry but I am trying to stay strong.

We are silent for a moment before Jason speaks up. "Dad can't you give her the bite to save her please" he says with tears in his eyes as he sees his best friend lying there lifeless.

Scott looks at me and I don't know what to do because she never wanted the bite but seeing my baby laying there I nod my head and so does Lydia. I don't know how she is going to react but I can't lose her.

TIME SKIP:

Stiles Pov:

The doctor say that they dont know how and it is a miracle but she is a lot better now. That means the bite worked. But what is she. That is the least important thing now.

So now we are just waiting for her to wake up. Every one left except for me, Lydia, Scott, Malia, Derek, Jason and Dylan.

Claudia's Pov:

I start to feel pain as I start to wake up. It hurts but I thought it would be more painful. As I try to open my eyes I see a bright light. So I squint and then try again. When I got them open I saw my mom and dad and then everybody else.

They're faces light up when they see I am awake . They al scrambles to my bed to see if I am ok and I nod in response.

I ask "How is the jeep" and everyone just laughs.

"How am I alive and feel like I am heali- wait you gave me the bite uncle Scott" I ask with tears in my eyes.

I never wanted the bite because of how it can change my life and how people will look at me when they find out.

"I'm sorry hunny but we were gonna lose you if we didn't do anything" Scott says.

As I ask them to leave to give me time to think the doctor comes in and says because I'm healing so fast I can go home. I nod and my mom helps me get ready and then we leave the hospital.

As we arrive at my house mom and dad tried to talk to me and apologize but I just don't know how to feel I understand why they did it but I just need time.
