Chapter Three: Reunited Love

"You're right, as usual" James said with mock stupidity. Alex just laughed, which was unusual for him. "So James, Thalia, I'm assuming that because you are here you did not pay for the rooms at the inn?" Alex asked. James looked down realizing his mistake. Adri came over and kissed Alex's cheek and said "that's okay; the kids can sleep in the guest bedroom." Alex laughed "alright, I guess I get the couch" Adri gave Alex a suspicious look then turned around and started to cut carrots when Alex came up behind her and put his head on her shoulder and pretends to fall asleep. Snapping awake from his pretend sleep Alex proceeds to help Adri cook dinner. "Those two are truly one and the same aren't they?" Thalia asked no one in particular, James answers with "tots mugoats." James and Thalia had cuddled up, Thalia had fallen asleep as her and James was watching television. Alex and Adri were finished making dinner they went to get James and Thalia for dinner, but were stopped when they saw Thalia asleep. Alex came over and whispered to James "I got Thalia, go get her bed ready." James got up and got directions to the rooms, after he got them he went and prepared a bed for Thalia and himself. Alex gently picked Thalia up and took her to bed. "Thank the daddy" Thalia said as she burrowed her face into Alex's shirt. Alex smiled "ever it hard times people can fine there happy places, gods bless you child." Alex walked into the bedroom James was in and gently set Thalia into the bed, he pulled the blankets up and kissed her forehead. "Sleep well Thalia, James are you going to sleep with her or in the bed next to her?" James looked at both and decided in his head, "I'll sleep with her, no worries; I'll keep my hands to myself." Alex smiled and left without a word and shut the door. "You truly care for those two don't you Tri?" Adri asked, Alex smiled and picked her up and took her to the kitchen to eat dinner. "I love you so much, and I missed you unconditionally." After eating dinner Alex and Adri started going to bed when Alex decided to make a joke, he jumped on the couch pretended to fall asleep, Adri went over and was about to pull him off the couch when Alex lunged out and grabbed her and pulled her onto the couch with him. "I've got you now, you can't escape from me this time" Alex said through a smile. Adri squirmed as he started to tickle her, after a wail they stopped and watched some television. After a few hours Adri fell asleep, so Alex picked her up bridal style and took her to her room and laid her in bed and pulled the covers up. Before Alex could walk away Adri reached out a hand and whispered sleepily "stay here with me, please, I have such nightmares" Alex smiles slightly, "oh course my love, I'll stay with you as long as you'd like." After saying that he walked around and laid down beside Adri and engulfed her in a hug and went to sleep.

Adrianna's point of view

I woke up with his arms around me; they were so warm and strong. "I see you finally woke up love" he said to me ask he shifted slightly to look at me. I smiled back and replied "oh so have I been an inconvenience for you?" he just looked at me and laughed. "You are truly something Adri, I'll tell you that much, but I still love you" I blushed at the word love. After a few minutes of siting in silence he got up and picked me up bridal style and took me to the kitchen, and then he did something I wasn't prepared for. He started cooking, "what are you making me?" he smiled at me then turned back to the oven. Thirty minutes later he set the table with a feast worthy of royalty. He then went to go yet those children he brought with him. "okay dig in guys" he said as he fixed a plate for what I thought was him when I realized that he got nothing he actually liked. "Here you go Adri, I thought you would like it if you didn't have to get up, so I got you a plate of your favorite foods" after he served me he sat down and next to me and laid his head on my shoulder and fell asleep. As if on quo the girl, I think her name is Thalia... I'm not totally sure, said "well aren't you two just the cutest ever." I smiled and replied "thanks, you two are so bad yourselves, I can see in your eyes you truly love each other very much" so after finishing our food a gently kissed Alex to wake him up, so expected him perked up nicely and said "if that isn't the best way to wake up I don't know what is" Thalia and the boy, James maybe... yeah I'll stick to that, laughed and we all got up to go into the market for a stroll. "Wait, Alex your weapons please" I asked softly, he obeyed and did as I asked to an extent. "Now Adri, dear, I'm keeping my pocket disks and my titanium knuckles, okay, they are not going to stay here" I made a pouty face at him but all that did was make him hug me and the kiss me, granted he is a amazing kisser and his hugs are awesome, but he still have weapons on him and I didn't like that. "Look Adri you must understand that in this day and age people hate my guts and from what I saw in the market place people "want" you. My Katanagaria will not be enough to protect us for long." He was right, dammit, I hate it when I'm wrong.
