Niall: Wanna ditch school today and go to the Pompeii thing? We can treat today like my last day
Niall: ...
Niall: Hello?
Niall: WHERE YOU AT
Bryn: Im on a bus
Niall: I'm the one leaving, not you
Bryn: No, I'm going on a field trip
Bryn: They're taking us to a college that we applied to
Bryn: Or they want us to apply to
Bryn: I'm going to UCLA
Niall: You're going to college?
Bryn: I don't know
Niall: If you go to college, what'll happen when I come back?
Bryn: Its just like me going to school, like how I am now
Bryn: And I'd be in LA anyway
Niall: Oh yeah, huh
Niall: Go to college
Bryn: Shut the fuck up, mom
Niall: EXCUSE ME
Niall: I AM YOUR MOTHER
Niall: DO YOU NEED SOAP IN YOUR MOUTH?!
Bryn: Gag me
Niall: I WILL GAG YOU
Niall: WITH SOAP
Bryn: Go ahead
Niall: I'd never do that to your beautiful mouth

Bryn: No
Bryn: Got to go, we got to UCLA
Niall: My little uni girl
Bryn: Sounds like unicorn
Niall: No it doesn't
Bryn: SHUT UP, IM AT SCHOOL
Niall: Never thought you'd say that
Niall: My little girl is growing up
I shut off my phone and walked with JoJo over to the rest of the group to the front. Its huge. And by huge, I mean, it's like it's its own town (A/N: grammar made that sentence sound weird).
"I'm sure you've seen a lot of this community on the bus, like: our fire station, police station, and housing," the tour guide came behind JoJo and I. "Hi guys, I'm Toby."
"Hel-lo Toby," JoJo said almost drooling. He is pretty hot.
"Hey, I'm a sophomore here at UCLA, and your tour guide! Why don't we go over to the bear statue!" He said and put his hand on my back, guiding me and the rest of the group to the statue. Just a friendly gesture. Or maybe not even a gesture at all. Idk.
"So here, is our mascot, the bruin. A lot of people come here for good luck before a test or something. Its good luck to touch it." He explained. "Go ahead, touch it," he said looking at me.
"Me?" I asked and he nodded. I just shrugged and touched it. When my fingers met the metal, I felt a wave of butterflies in my stomach. Lol, jk. It was just cold.
"Now you're good for your application. I can feel it being accepted," he joked.
"What I really need is food. Who needs school?" I said. I really was hungry. An hour on the bus, and then walking like, 20 steps after that got me famished.
"There's a little table of free sample food over there for students. They don't check ID." He pointed to a table somewhat near the bear.
"JoJo, follow me, don't let anyone see," grabbed her arm and made our way to the table.
"Three please!" I asked making my voice a little deeper to sound older. I'm sure it didn't do anything, but I felt older. So it counts.
She handed us three bowls of chili and we made our way over with a detour so it looked like we weren't going straight to the group. Smart, I know.
"Here," I handed Toby a bowl and started eating mine nonchalantly.
"You got me one?" he asked with a smile.
"No, I'm just making you hold my second one."
"Well, I'm eating your second one." That douche. Well, I mean, it was for him. But then I took a bite, and realized I'd want a second.
"Where are the dorms?" some girl asked. I didn't know anyone's name except JoJo. That's the only name at the school I needed. Well, I knew Chris', but we don't talk about him anymore.
"We'll get there, calm down," he answered.
"Hey, where'd you get that chili?" a guy from the group asked me.
"I packed it."
"You packed chili...?" he said not believing me.
"I've also got fritos back on the bus. Go away," I said and kept eating my chili.
"You're nice," Toby teased.
"I know. I'm surprised Niall even likes me," I said making it clear I had a boy-- Um, interest?
"So you have a boyfriend," Toby replied.
"Well, no. But I'm waiting for him. My idea, not his."
"That's sweet. Well, if you get into UCLA, I'd be happy to befriend you. It'd be a good way to keep the guys away without Niall being at your side," he said with a smile.
"I'll remember that. I'm sure Niall would like that too," I laughed.
"Should we go see the library or something?" a girl spoke up.
"Just keep examining the bear," he said and ate his chili. We could be really good friends.

The rest of the tour was him walking the group around and stopping in the back to talk to me and JoJo. It was actually really fun. We were walking back to the bus and stopped to get his number.
"Remember to find me when you get accepted here. I'll be like your bodyguard. Not friend. Friends are tacky." He said.
"You sound like Bryn, god. I can't handle two," JoJo joked.
"You welcome," Toby and I said at the same time, then laughed. Were we twins but separated? Wait, no, he's hot. So we can't be.
"You guys can text me on your way back to your school. I'll hopefully see you guys soon," he said and discreetly hugged us both. I forgot there was a whole group of other people around us. Smart move, Toby.
"Cool dude," I told JoJo once we sat back on the bus.
"Hey, can I have those fritos?" the guy who asked about the chili asked.
"Umm, I ate them?" Did he really think I had fritos. I go to a weird/stupid school.

I went to UCLA once. There was chili samples. That's all I remember.
I'm feeling better after all of those comments! Especially from juliabrooksss I laughed SO hard at all of yours!!
