**ONE YEAR LATER**
"Hey, babe, isn't that Niall?" I heard Toby say in the kitchen. I went over to find him drinking coffee while on his laptop. I got closer and saw a picture of Niall and some other girl together.
"Yeah, that is," I smiled at the picture. "I'm glad he's happy."
After the time at the airport, Niall and I didn't see each other. Sure, we talked and kiked a bit, but he was busy doing concerts. During his time out, I was accepted to UCLA, where I met up with Toby. We hit it off, and we're now sharing an apartment.
Sure, sometimes I miss Niall, but it's better to remember instead of miss. I am now with an amazing man, and I'm majoring in pediatrics with him.
I decided to take out my phone and kik Niall.
Bryn Taylor: Hey potato
Potato Guy: Its been a while
Bryn Taylor: Yeah, I saw your picture on the internet with a girlfriend?! :D
Potato Guy: Yeah, she's great. She's a really amazing girl. And I see from your profile picture, you've got someone too
Bryn Taylor: Yeah, we met back at the tour for UCLA, and we became friends. Then I got accepted, and we just kinda grew closer.
Potato Guy: You're happy with him, right? If not, I need to punch this guy straight in the nose
Bryn Taylor: I'm very happy with him (: And things are good with your lady?
Potato Guy: Great (:
Bryn Taylor: Sweet
"Bryn, we've got class in a few minutes," Toby reminded me.
"Okay, give me a sec!" I replied.
Bryn Taylor: I've got to go to class, it was good talking to you again
Potato Guy: We should do it again later
Bryn Taylor: No promises, you're looking at a girl with a busy life studying to be a pediatrician
Potato Guy: You always were a smartass :P
Bryn Taylor: Gee, thanks
Potato Guy: Bye Brynny
Bryn Taylor: Peace Ni
"Okay, let's go," I said to Toby after grabbing my bag.
"What were you doing?" he asked.
"Just talking to Niall really quick," I said holding the door open for us.
"I shouldn't be worried, should I?" he asked.
"We're both perfectly happy with who we're with now," I smiled and kissed him.
And then, I realized everything was in place. Everything was right. I didnt feel stupid for letting Niall go, but I felt... proud?
When I let us slowly drift, I figured if it's meant to be, we'll find each other again. And instead, I was paired with Toby, and Niall and his female.
Everything was turning up Bryn.
