Tchaikovsky and the Curse of the Halloween Hound

Chapter 10

Everything had returned to normal back in Fernfield. The Harpercops had ended up outside of the manor when the citizens were brought back to their senses after the evil spirits had vanished, but they were left confused to how they ended up here in the first place. 

"Kali did it!" The twins beamed in joy. 

"What a relief" Jane sighed before she and Walter hugged. 

And all our animals friends who had turned to stone were brought back to life.  

The kids, Joseph, and the Mystery Inc gang were still in the room when they heard barking and turned around to see Pip appear. 

"Pip!" Joseph beamed to his puppy. 

The beagle puppy ran up to his boy and after 75 years, Pip and Joseph were finally reunited. Kali, the Recess gang, and Mystery Inc all smiled being happy for them. 

"Aww, now isn't that sweet" Mikey smiled. 

"But where are the Buddies?" Gus asked. 

Right on cue, the Buddies came in along with Tchaikovsky and Scooby as the gang was happy to see them. 

"Kali!" Tchaikovsky beamed, running up to his girl. 

"Tchaik!" The tomboy kneeled down and held her arms out as her puppy jumped right into them. 

"Raggy!" Scooby smiled, running to his best buddy. 

"Scooby Doo!" Shaggy cried joyfully and laughed when Scooby knocked him over and licked his face. 

"Come on, everyone" Joseph soon told the gang. "Let's get out of this evil place" 

Everyone agreed to that and left the manor with Pip's brothers and sisters following. When they came outside, the citizens praised and cheered for them as heroes. Kali soon spotted her family, going over to them and the Buddies were reunited with their owners. 

Gretchen look up and noticed Hoot perched in a nearby tree, watching everything. 

"So, what are you going to do now?" The smart girl asked the owl. 

Hoot thought for a moment before smiling. "Maybe now, I can be a wise owl"

Sheriff Dan soon arrived in his police cruiser, no longer a monkey, assuring everyone that things were okay now. 

"I haven't had an episode like this since that KISS concert in the 80s" Mr. Carroll mentioned. 

The Harpercops laughed, glad to be together while Tchaikovsky smiled up at them. He sure was lucky to have them for his family.

"It's a new day at last" Joseph smiled while holding Pip.

The gang was happy as they all came together on this new beautiful, happy day. Nothing could ruin their moment...

"Hey, can we get some help over here?!" Rodney's voice asked. 

Everyone turned and looked surprised to find Rodney and Skip in the bushes, naked. 

"Yeah, it's cold!" Skip added. "Can someone find out clothes?" 

Except that. 

Everyone laughed at the bully boys' misfortune, still being glad that everything was better again. 

"Scooby Dooby Doo!" Scooby howled happily. Once again they had saved the day. 

Later that day, Kali and the Recess gang were in front of Town Hall with Tchaikovsky and the Buddies to meet with Joseph and Pip one final time. 

"Well, I guess this is it" Vince sighed. 

"Thanks again for all the help, Mr. John... I mean, Joseph" TJ smiled at Joseph. 

"It was a pleasure... Dawg" The old man smirked. 

The kids all laughed at that. 

"So, what are you gonna do now?" Spinelli asked. 

"Well, I tracked down Pip's brothers' and sisters' owners. They live all across America now, so we're going to visit" Joseph replied. "Figure it's about time that Pip and I do some living. See the country"

The pups were seen saying their own goodbyes to Pip. 

"It's so great to have a new leash on life" Pip admitted, smiling to his new friends. "I'll miss you, Buddies, and you too, Tchaikovsky"

"This isn't goodbye," Tchaikovsky told the beagle puppy. "Just... So long for now"

"Yo, dawg, we'll catch you on the flip side" B-Dawg said. 

"I think what my brother's saying is, we'll never forget you" Buddha stated.

"Hang loose, dude" Mudbud added.

"Now that you can eat again, do me a favor. You need to check out the chili cheese dogs at every town you visit and tell us which one's the best" Budderball suggested. 

"Have a great time, Pip" Rosebud smiled. 

"We hope to see you again soon" Wonder said to Pip, standing besides Tchaikovsky while trying to hold back tears. 

"Goodbye guys" Pip smiled to his friends. 

Joseph soon picked up Pip while the puppy licked his face. "I haven't felt this spry in years" The old man smiled for the first time in a very long time. 

The Recess gang and Kali smiled back, being very happy for him and Pip. 

"We won't ever forget you and Pip, and what you did for us" Kali told Joseph, showing great gratitude to him. 

Joseph smiled back at the adventure girl and nodded to her, before realizing it was time for him and Pip to go. "Well, we better hit the road. Bye, kids"

"Bye, Mr. Johnson!" The kids waved goodbye. 

Joseph soon drove away with Pip and his siblings, leaving Fernfield while the kids went about their day. The Buddies and Tchaikovsky had a great time meeting Pip and knew they'd see him again someday. You might say, they've had quite the spooky Halloween adventure together. 

Later, at the Harpercops' house~

Kali was in the living room, looking through her bag to see how much candy she had gotten last night when Albert suddenly popped out from behind the couch screaming with his hair all messy and his eyes sagged. 

Kali let out a terrified scream, leaving behind her bag of candy and ran out of the room faster than you can say 'David's a freak'. 

"Huh. Well bathe me in sausage oil and call Arnold Schwarzenegger the president" Albert couldn't believe he had actually scared someone before stealing some of Kali's candy. 

In the other room, Kali peaked out from behind the corner with the twins having watched the whole thing. 

"Okay, so tell us again why you pretended to be afraid of Albert?" Brock questioned his sister. 

"Hey, I had to do something to get him to stop" The adventure girl told her siblings. Even though Halloween was over now so this technically didn't count. 

"But he didn't even dress up in a scary costume or anything" Ann mentioned. But that wasn't the reason Kali ran out so quickly. 

"It's his morning breath. Have you smelled it!" Kali replied dramatically before making a gagged face. 

The siblings then laughed, as it had officially been another great year for Halloween.
