1-31 of August
While they're both MIA to the public eye they have a really busy month preparing for what will come. Not all of their fans are Larries and they want to ease the rest into the idea of the two of them together as a couple. Harrys manager Jeffrey is on board with the plan and he's pulling the strings now when he doesn't have Syco breathing down his neck all the time, considering Harry has been papped both in London and in Italy. They seem to have lost interest after Louis got out of his contract as a solo artist anyway and they couldn't be happier.
He makes sure different articles are coming out about the two of them. Capital FM writes about the prospect of Louis and Harry's secret holiday together last year. J-14 Magazine writes about Harry and Louis' cute friendship moments and Jeffrey encourages them to change friendship to a relationship so they edit the article. Harry does his part and starts following them.
Popsugar edits an old article about Louis and Eleanors break up. Jeffreys team starts an account called @updateHLD and starts to post unseen pictures of Harry and Louis.
The next step is to get rid of old articles and interviews where they had to deny their relationship. It takes a while but Jeffrey convinces a few papers to delete their old interviews online. The Sun takes down a filmed interview with Louis saying there's obviously no truth behind the rumors about him and Harry and the radio interview where Harry denies Sweet creature being about Louis is also taken down. The Internet is buzzing. Fans are wondering what's going on. Harry and Louis are following their discussion with interest.
They go home to Doncaster to celebrate Lotties birthday at the beginning of the month and it's wonderful to finally see the family. They make sure to visit Harry's family as well.
They take a trip to Bath on the 16th to use Peter Gabriel's recording studio after a personal invite. Other than that they just enjoy a change of scenery and spend a weekend there.
Harry's watermelon sugar gets nominated for 'Song of Summer' by the VMA's and they're both excited.
They keep a low profile and mostly stay at home. Harry is getting really good at Italian, which will come in handy when he's shooting his Golden music video next month.
They're biding their time, waiting for their contract regarding One Direction to end in December.
1-17 of September
Harry goes for a run and ends up taking pictures for a football team. He and Louis laugh about it when he gets home, knowing that the Internet will coo over it just like they did when Harry watched someone's dog while they got takeouts back in January. They don't see the big deal. It's just him being a fellow human being.
He also got the offer to star in two films and he's really excited about it. Louis couldn't be more proud.
18 of September
"Why are you wearing my sweatshirt?" Louis asks and stares at Harry.
"What? We always share clothes. It's comfy and I needed something to run in." Harry answers looking confused. Since when did Louis start to care about that?
"I don't mind sharing love, it's just...that Umbro sweatshirt is vintage and rare. I think there's a photo or two of me wearing it. If someone took a picture of you now you just sent the Internet in a frenzy." Louis smirks amused.
"Oh." Harry says looking surprised before he starts laughing. "Oops!"
18-21 of September
Harry is busy in meetings regarding the upcoming Golden video. Louis just chills in front of the tv or plays the guitar.
They fly to Italy on the 21st for the shooting.
22 of September
"Hi El, are you aware of the article in The Sun today claiming you've been spotted in Regent's Park snogging Max?" Louis asks.
"Yeah, I'm so sorry about that. Syco is getting it removed." Eleanor stresses.
"It's okay. So you're back with Max?" Louis asks.
"Yes." Eleanor answers, sounding happy.
"I'm glad. I hope you can make it work this time. We're breaking up soon so that will makes things easier." Louis chuckles.
"I can't wait!" Eleanor replies.
23-25 of September
Louis watches his amazing husband shoot his music video with a proud smile on his lips. They have trouble with fans finding out Harry's location and camping outside the house. Louis has to hide inside until the situation is dealt with.
On the 25th there's an article in The Daily mail stating that 'Harry Styles goes shirtless as he enjoys a dip in the pool and chats with a mystery woman while soaking up the sun on Italy's stunning Amalfi coast'.
Harry gets sad. The paper must have used a drone to take picture of him and his creative director, a good friend. A married friend.
"Oh for fucks sake!" Louis growls and writes an angry e-mail to the paper. They take back their previous statement.
He can't wait for them to come out in public so Harry doesn't have to deal with this womanizer image he had since he was sixteen, an image that their old label and management forced on him.
26-27 of September
Harry flew to L.A. the day before to a meeting about the music video he just recorded and Louis heads back to England and plays some football for fun.
28 of September
It's their seventh anniversary since they got married and Harry has planned something special for them. He gets home from L.A. in the morning to find Louis in the kitchen cooking them breakfast. He drops everything to kiss him.
"Happy anniversary baby." Louis says softly when they have to come up for air.
"Happy anniversary Boo." Harry smiles.
After breakfast, Harry takes them to a secret location. Louis's eyes grow wide with excitement when he sees the hot air balloon.
"Are you fucking kidding me? This is so cool!"
"I'm glad you think so. We're going on a ride but first I want to give you this." Harry smiles and hands him a wrapped gift.
Louis opens the present to find a photo album. He starts to flip through it and chokes on emotions. It's filled with private pictures of the two of them for the last ten years.
"Do you like it?" Harry asks.
"I absolutely love it. It's beautiful. Thanks love." Louis replies and kisses him.
They get out of the car and greets the man in charge of the balloon. Ten minutes later they're going up in the air and they both smile widely.
"This is incredible!" Louis says.
"You are. I love you so much, Louis. You make me so happy." Harry says softly.
"I love you too baby." Louis replies.
Harry puts his hand in his pocket and goes down on one knee all of a sudden and Louis gasps in surprise. Harry opens a ring box.
"You proposed the first time and that was one of the happiest moments in my life. I'm wondering if you would like to renew our vows once we're finally out. Have a second wedding with all of our friends and family? Will you marry me again Lou?" Harry says emotionally.
"Oh my God! Yes! Of course I will." Louis sobs.
Harry smiles happily and gives him the ring before he stands up to kiss him. The man maneuvering the balloon takes a picture for them.
29-30 of September
They call their families and friends to tell them the news and everyone is happy for them and immediately starts to plan the wedding of a lifetime. Niall cries for twenty minutes straight when they facetime him.
