Her head rose slowly at 9 am, her eyes prying open and saw as the light seeped through her curtains. She stretched and rolled out of bed and into the bathroom, where she spooked herself. Her hair was a mess and her face wasn't the prettiest. She laughed and turned the shower on. All of a sudden, she heard a little ding from her phone and reached for it on the counter. It was Vlad! At this time in the morning?
Vlad: Morning! Ready for the party?
Me: Of course, really excited. Dont know what to wear.
Vlad: You look good in everything. That text made her blush. He really thought that?
Me: Thanks. So do you..
Vlad: Do you want me to pick you up at 6?
Me: Sure. Why not.
Vlad: Great! See ya later. She placed down her phone with a beating heart. Wow...someone actually liked her. She took a nice long shower, enough for her to smell pretty. She hopped out and put on what she was going to wear later. A pair of ripped shorts with a beachy crop top with a white sweater over it with white vans. She was pleased at her style and went downstairs. She felt a different feeling as she entered the living room. She found her mom at the nook, listening to small tiny thuds hitting the table...like drops?
" Mom?" She spoke softly, placing a warm hand on her back.
" We need to talk." She said after gathering herself up. She nodded and Syndir grabbed two mugs and filled them with coffee.
" Whats up?" Syndir smiled and sipped her coffee. There was a long pause as her mother tried to find something to start things off with. She inhaled a deep breath and sighed.
" Do you...remember your father?" She spoke.
" The father that left us in the dust? The one who died in that big car accident? Yea...i know that one.." Syndir rolled her eyes, due to the fact that he was a coward.
" Well..he..is actually still alive..." She looked up at Syndir.
The look she found wasn't the one she expected. The anger in her eyes." Why are you telling me this.."
Syndir spoke sharply, bitting her lip to be a little soft to her mom." I thought that you would want to ta-"
" I never want to talk to that excuse for a father...I am not going to waste my breath to him not listening.." She stood from her chair." I know..but maybe things can work out..." Her mother said reasonably, but she ignored the fact that she is trying to do this to her.
" No mom..nothing will work out between him and I. Ever." She spoke clearly. Her mother quit trying and sipped her coffee. Syndir looked at her mom and sighed.
" Why didn't you say that to me...why would you hide that...?" She sat back down infront of her and held her hand.
" I don't know..." Her mother looked up again shamefully. Syndir kissed her forehead and smiled.
" Please...tell me things..ok?" A vibration was felt through her pocket. Niki texted her that she needed help finding something to wear, so she wanted to know if Syndir could come and help. She showed her mother and kissed her forehead again, texting back a yes! She went outside and waited to find a grey Land Rover in the front of her house, the window rolled and there Niki was, looking cute. They greeted each other and zoomed to the mall!
A couple hours later, around 5:30 pm, Niki's mother dropped her off and waved good bye, knowing she will see her soon. As soon as she walked through the door, a car horn honked at her house, she looked out and saw it was Vlad on his Harley.
" Hey mom..I'll be back in a couple hours ok? Love you"
She walked back out and crept up to him, he handed her a helmet." Ready?"
" Ready.."

The party was fantastic! She danced with Niki, Jax, and Vlad. They laughed and sang and talked. It was a heck of a blast. She felt her phone vibrate again and told them she will be back. As she stepped outside, she looked and it was an unknown number. She answered sweetly." Hello?"
" Hi Syndir..its me."
This couldn't be..
