A few weeks later……….
I woke up in a hospital room with a whole bunch of wires in me. I couldn’t remember what happened except that I was holding my mommy’s hand and that’s when I hit the ground and now I’m here. I looked around the room and there was a boy sitting in a chair in the corner sleeping. I tried to speak but there was something blocking my throat and I tried to move my hands but it was hard because of the needle in them. I was just staring at the ceiling when the guy sitting in the chair came over and said “wow your awake” and he ran out the room and he came back with a nurse. The nurse said “ well welcome back dear I’m Miss Honey and you gave us quite a scare as we didn’t know if you would make it” she said as she started to take out the iv’s that was in my hands and she told me to cough a little and I did and the feeding tube came out my mouth. “ Okay that’s good” she said and I let you rest for a minute but if you need anything just press this button as she held it out for me and I reached for it and I held it in my hand and she left the room. I looked at the guy who was standing there just looking at me. I waved at him and he came closer and I pointed the jug of water and that’s when he said “you want some water?” yeah as I nodded my head and he poured me a cup and he handed it to me. I drank it and my mouth and throat felt a lot better and I could speak now. “What happen I asked him and who are you? I said to him. He was quiet for a long time  and he finally spoke “She’s dead” I said and I looked at the ground. “WHAT” she said “She was shot just like you except she didn’t make it” I said. “I tried to help her but by the time I got to her she was dying as I reached her I covered her wound but she was barely holding on the only the thing she said to me was take care of you” I said. She was just looking at me and then the tears came and she started shouting “ LIAR YOUR LYING SHE CAN’T BE DEAD ” she said to me and just then my mom came walked in and said “ baby Its going to be alright” my mom said and I just walked out the room and slid down to the floor and I just felt really bad like how come I have not been there what was I supposed to do now and that’s when I remembered what her mom said to me was take care of her and I guess it was fate or something like that I really didn’t believe in any of it. My mom came back out and said “she feeling a lot better and she wants to see you” she said. I got up from the floor and my mom said just try to be her friend that’s what I’ll do as I went to open the door and walked inside and she was just lying there looking like a lost puppy. hey I said and she said hey I can’t wrap my head around it one minute I was on my way home with her and the next minute I’m in here and she’s gone ” she said. “I know  I‘m really sorry and I wished I could change it but I can’t so lets just make the best of everything now” I said. “What happens now? She asked me
“Well my mom said you can stay with her once you get out of the hospital” I said to her. “Hey why don’t you show me a few backflips to make me feel better” she said. Sure I said as I took off my jacket and hat and I flipped a few times how was that? I asked her “that was good but when I get better I can challenge you to a dance off “she said. “Oh yeah I guess this is a start of a good friendship” I say Chris

I was so happy when she said she would stay with me. I felt l like it was faith that I was suppose to save her that day. My mom thinks that it wasn’t like I asked to be there. She said it was the superman effect. Which just falling for someone you saved but you aren’t really in love it’s just that you feel safe with them because they protected you. I finally decided to go home as I was leaving she asked for the phone I told the nurse to come and help her. I was coming back tomorrow because that’s when she was leaving the hospital. When I got home my mom was fixing up my place so she could stay there with Layla because I as going on tour. We got along great and it was like we met each other before but I should of listened to my mom and just stayed friends with her instead of making her my girl. I should went with her sister I mean she was throwing it me. She was cute and I should been on then I wouldn’t of got my heart broken but oh well it’s to late.

I told Chris that I just wanted be friends until I remembered what we went had because the last I remember being with is shad and that was bad I mean he left me pregnant and confused. Why would I remember that and not Chris I mean he was nice to me but maybe I am still in love with Shad. We been getting pretty close. Everyday we have been with each other. He comes to check on me and take me to my doctor appointments. He told me about his daughter and how she changed her life and I can’t wait to meet her. The doorbell rings and I go to open it and there was shad all dressed in black and ready to take me to the doctors. We got there and the doctors said there was no more swelling near my spine and I got feelings back in my legs again. So I could start physical therapy then I could start wearing braces now. Then afterwards we went out to eat lunch at the Carnegie deli. It was really weird walking with braces but it was better then being in an wheelchair. We ate and talked about everything. Well he talked and I listened he was telling me all about my life trying to make me remember and It was weird how much he knew about me especially since it’s been 4 years since we been together but hey I must of told him all this right. We finished leaving and I seen Chris sitting in the corner looking like he’s in a daze or something. I will call him when I get home to make sure he is okay. We left the deli and headed home.
