Chapter 9

Mew's POV

My love collapsed in front of me. Before I can catch him, he landed already on our new employee's arms.

Gulf's friends immediately ran to check Gulf.

Nine trying to pull him from Haii.

"Let's bring him to the hospital." Nine asked Off who was dumbfounded by Haii's presence. It's like a scary ghost appeared suddenly out of nowhere. "Off, help me." Nine yelled.

"Hey, who are you? Do you know what will happen to him if he wakes up to the hospital?" Haii asked. "He hates that place."

I want to drag Gulf out of here.

"And who are you?" Nine asked.

"You wouldn't wanna know. Can someone bring me cold strawberry milk first? Please."
Haii asked. Why would he ask for milk in the middle of this mess?

"Go get it yourself, and leave Gulf to us. You are just another fling for sure." Nine really is annoyed by my new employee's presence.

"You will know why I am asking for strawberry milk."

We gave him enough space for air. Haii is still holding Gulf for god sake. I really want to break his arms. He is acting like he knows Gulf so much.

Few seconds we can already see him moving...

"Cold.....strawberry...."

"Yes, baby."

He looked at Nine. "Give it to me." Nine was confused about how the hell did he predict about the milk. Actually, I am curious as well.

"You really team up for fuckin sake." This is the first time I saw Off serious like this.
"What do you mean?" I asked.

He gains consciousness. He instantly drinks the water and asked for strawberry milk.

"You still didn't change," Haii said. "I told you to eat always before drinking."

"Haii." Gulf stood up right away and look around.

"I always bring this mint. Take it, baby." He handed it to Gulf.

I never felt threatened to Nine but how come I found myself nervous at Haii's presence.

"W-why are you here?" Gulf, Off, Nine, and Haii are both standing, facing, and just observing each other. Gulf's voice is shaking.

"I came back for you. I will set everything right. Give me another chance baby."

Gulf started tearing up.

"Fuck you," Gulf said. "Off, let's go home."

"You are staying," Haii said.

Why can't I fuckin talk? I returned to our table.

"Boss, I'll follow you. Give me a minute. I'll just talk with my boyfriend." So he is Gulf's new boyfriend. That was fast. He wasn't even hurt after our break up.

The two went outside the bar.

Off went to my table. "Get him, if I were to choose between you and Haii I would prefer Gulf to be with you."

"Is that his new fling?" I asked.

"Haii, was never his fling. He was the only serious relationship Gulf has." Off added. "Yes, that is his first boyfriend. The reason why Gulf never trust any guy."

His timing is not good for me. Why did I even hire him? Now I gave him the reason to meet Gulf. Just when I was about to fix everything with him. I lost my confidence. I wasn't even able to talk earlier.

Few more minutes they came back together.

He brought Gulf in our table. Even Yin was surprised to see them together. My employees know Gulf as well.

"Hi, guys. This is Gulf. Can he join us?" Haii asked us.

"No, I'll join Off there. Just tell me when you're going home." Gulf told him. The way he talked to him is really different.

"Gulf, baby. Limit it okay?" Fuck. Are they intentionally making me jealous?

"You too." Gulf

Haii wasn't just a fling, but I am.

Now I have a lower chance to claim him back.

"Sorry about that. Anyway, thank you for welcoming me. I promise I will do my best." Haii cheerfully said.

"You really seem to be in a good mood." It was Yin. He may be noticed me feeling uncomfortable.

"I am just so happy. I am more inspired now."

"Really? Because of that guy. You're boyfriend?" Yin again.

"Uhm he was my high school boyfriend. Something happened but I always think of him as my boyfriend like we never broke up." He drinks his booze straight up.

Stop talking now. I am already dying.

My employees are already leaving one by one until I, Yin, and Haii are only left here. Both I and Haii must be waiting for Gulf who is still talking with his friends. This guy in front of me is already drunk. I saw him texting with someone and just a few seconds Gulf is already on our table.

He hit Haii's forehead. "Where's your key?" He asked.

"Pocket, babe."

Gulf slid his hand in his pocket. I held his hand. I am fucking jealous. I don't want to see him touching another guy.

He was still able to get it.

"Stand up. Don't act wasted in front of me." Gulf scolding his first boyfriend and I don't like it. He really cares for this guy.

"Baby, you know mom. She'll kill me when she sees me like this."

"That's why I am bringing you home."

"Gulf!" I yelled.

"Any problem, sir?" What sir? He is acting like he doesn't know me now just because his ex-boyfriend is back.

Off helped him and left us.

Shit! He is going to sleep with him.

I am losing my mind.

Why did he return? I was already prepared to claim Gulf mine again.

When I got home, I drink more beer to forget them for a while. I can't sleep thinking that he is in the same room with my boyfriend.

I thought he is the reason why Gulf never trusted any of his boyfriends, but why the hell is he still talking with that guy?

How dare them for hurting me like this?

It was early morning when I decided to check on them. I want to be sure that he didn't allow that guy to enter his room.

I knocked on the door and I felt relieved to see him opened the door for me.

"Bii, I want you back. I am sorry."

"Why now Mew? You got challenged because Haii is back, am I right?"

"I was about to clear things up last night that's why I really went there when I knew that you are coming. I just didn't know that he is the one... Nine said he broke up with you! Choose me Gulf, I'll never hurt you. Let's start again. This time, no one will get hurt anymore."

"Now I am thinking of who is worse, the guy I worshipped before but broke me for a girl or the guy I learned to love but treated me like his whore. If you were in my position, who are you going to pick? Because for me, I would prefer to be alone."

Yes, Gulf is right. But did he forget that he hurt me first?

I was just staring deeply into his eyes when I heard the voice from his room.

"Baby, who's there?"

"No one Haii. Just a trash collector."
