Born Again !!!!

Chapter 1

Tring tring tring tring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I heard the sound of my alarm clock and woke up with an exhausted face.

I was able to feel the sweat running down my back and all around my face.

I know the exact reason behind this. Yes this is all because of him......My dad!!!!

He generally has the habit of turning off the fan if he wants me to wake up and I don't know how , but it works all the time.

Soon I recalled the dreadful dream that I had last night , but that did not bother me much , cause it is the 249th time that I got that dream ( you guys may wonder how , but trust me I am really good in numbers !!!! ).
Always the 1st half the dream would be fine and pleasant but the second have remains the same.....really scary and dreadful.
I had always tried to recall the face of the person who bothered me in the dream , but I never succeeded in it even once.

I checked my inbox for any messages from my assistant Sherly, regarding my day's appointments ; and yes ! I found a message from her.

As expected, my day was fully packed and I had 7 clients to attend and a medical conference regarding child care ( you may wonder why I have mentioned the term 'clients' here. That's because in my profession we call patients as clients !!!!)

I just did a small prayer, got down from my bed ,completed all my daily morning routines and found myself standing in front of the long mirror near my hallway.

I wore a peach color saree with a white coloured printed blouse. I always like it to be simple, so I plated my hair with a simple puff on top and wore a small round stud with a white stone in it's centre. I had also applied some face powder and a small bindi , just to give it a finishing look.

Soon I heard my mom calling out for me and that's when I realized that it was 8:30 am and I had just 30 mins left to check-in for my duty.

I rushed to the kitchen and found my mother packing lunch for me and also a plate full of sandwiches stuffed with veggies nearby.
I quickly grabbed one of them and stuffed it into my mouth.
Then I ran up to my table, grabbed my coat and my bag and quickly reached the front door.

My mom came running behind me to hand over my lunch bag.
She soon informed me that my father had left for work early in the morning and my sister is getting ready for college.

So without any further delay , l gave her a 'good-bye' hug and ran down the staircase of my apartment to the basement.

I quickly entered my Nissan sunny and started driving towards St. Timothy hospital , the place where I work.

It is generally a 20 minutes drive from my house to the hospital and today I was a bit late .

I somehow managed to reach the hospital by 8:57 , parked my car and rushed to the entrance, where I had to place my biometrics.

After completing all of this , I relieved myself with a sigh and walked to my cabin which is there in 3rd floor ,"D- block" of the hospital.

On my way, I was greeted by my fellow colleagues and other workers of the hospital. I wished all of them back and finally reached my cabin door.

I went in,settled myself and soon saw somebody entering my cabin.
It was none other than my best friend Lexi.

Even though I had lost hope in friendship due to my past life experiences, she was the only one who stood alone with me till the end and supported me.
I always thank God for her : )

"Come on la, let's go" she gestured me to walk out of the cabin with a smile.

"Why Lexi , what's the matter?" I asked

"How can you forget it even after I recalled it so many times for you yesterday...." she said with a frustrated tone.

"Oh! Really sorry Lexi , I almost forgot. We have a new Dean coming on his way right?" I asked

"Yes and it is you who is going to welcome him " she said .

"Me !!!!!!!! You never mentioned that"

"I just wanted it to be a surprise for you la , moreover you are really good at it than me " she laughed.

That is when I realized that 2 years before, when we had our previous Dean's welcoming ceremony , I accidentally stamped his foot and he fell down and that created a lot of chaos. He never forgave me for that, even today.......

Soon, I got up from my chair ,walked towards Lexi and nudged her with my elbow on her stomach.

"Ouch! It hurts la ..." she exclaimed.

"A reward for your words......" I said with a notorious tone.

We both laughed at each other and started walking towards the entrance where all the other important doctors, staffs and higher officials of the hospital were waiting to welcome the new Dean of our hospital.

They gave me a bookey of flowers and asked me to hand it over to the new  dean, once he arrived.

Then we heard the secretary of the hospital shouting that "the Dean has arrived " and soon everybody reached their positions to welcome him.

I quickly saw a black colored BMW car that just arrived in front of the hospital entrance.
Soon the security ran to the back door of the car and opened it.
Just then, I felt a shiver running down my spine and I was shocked to see........
