I could see a long hallway in front of me and yes ! It was the forbidden area for most of the people , "the 7th floor" of the hospital building. This floor is mainly assigned for the higher officials of the hospital and special permission is required to enter it (as it is like a private space for them).
I took a few steps and turned to my right . I saw a huge door and on it was the name board of Dr. Michael. I knocked twice and slowly opened the door.
I saw Dr. Michael sitting by the table and checking his laptop. When he saw me, he greeted me with a smile: ) "Come in Miss. Illa" he said.
I entered his room and felt as if I was in some kind of an ancient palace built in the 19th century England. I guess Dr. Michael is a lover of antiques and history.
He gestured me to take the seat in front of him and I sat down.
"Miss Illa.... I am really glad to invite you to the annual ball that we organize every year during the Christmas eve" with that he handed me over a plain black cover. On it was the letter 'M' inscribed in golden. "I would very much like your presence Miss. Illa" he said.
"Sure sir...... it's indeed my pleasure "I replied with a smile.
Soon, I came back to my room, collected my belongings and left to the car. I drove back home fully exhausted, refreshed, had dinner and crawled back into my bed. "What a long day............." as I thought these words I fell asleep.
That whole week, my schedule was really tight and I couldn't think of what had happened earlier. I was so much packed up with clients (patients) in the morning and with some extra study works in the afternoon.
And then ,the Christmas eve arrived and soon I realized that I had a ball to attend. So I took the day off and rushed to the parlour to get my hair dressed.
I had already ordered a dress for me to one of my friend , Paula who is a designer and I am on my way to collect it from her.
She had sent me an image of the dress and it looked stunning $#$$$#$##$$##

I went back home and wore the dress along with a pair of diamond earrings and a small chain with a pendant. The pendant was spiral shaped with a diamond shaped silver hanging in it's tip.
That's when I suddenly realized that I had seen it somewhere earlier.................
