we were carried to a room with starched white walls and ceiling, and high  backed chairs surrounding us. Seven wolves were sitting on them and looking at us intently

i gulped audibly. They couldn't all be werewolves could they? Again, i was proven wrong, as for the second time that week, i watched the wolves shift to their human forms. This time, i recognised some of them as the beta and delta of my father's back bowed their heads in shame. i gasped and looked across to Fire to see if he had seen what i had. evidently, he had, because his eyes were almost popping out of his head(😲 like that )

Just then, two burly figures dragged my father in.

'are you alright?' i mouthed at him.

He lifted his head and gave me a weary thumbs up in reply. Then shock crossed his features briefly an i knew he had seen his now ex-pack members who were now smiling smugly, having got over their shame.

Since, conveniently, there was no one stopping me, i walked up to them and kicked them both in the shins. Hard. Ahh, the satisfaction... nothing beats kicking someone in the shins.

Until, of course, the assigned bodyguards decided to their job for once.Obviously, not one to let other people have the last word, i spat in in their faces, shrugged of the resraining bodyguards and walked calmly back to my spot. At least i thought it was calm, given the situation, i was being extremely lenient.

i  threw the other people a cursory glance for once, and was not surprised, or very pleased to see my dear friend Carl sitting on one of the chairs. The fattest of the lot, i noted, and i was willing to bet that he wasn't a natural werewolf.

"So, who did you pay to alter your DNA Lawson?" i asked pleasantly, "your not fit enough to be a real one."

"Not that you guys are fit" i said to the beta and delta sitting opposite.

I looked at lawson, and saw a delightful (to me anyway) purple spreading across his features, and his nose swelling even more than it did usually.
