The doorbell rang, she must be here.
I have our home all to ourselves today; mom went with the partridge and dad had to go to Cambridge for a meeting.
"Hi bestie! It's been quite some time since "dirty Lily" happened." She greeted me and went straight for a hug. This bish
"Aww how are you "crabby Rachel"? Still attending those anger management classes?" I gave her a petty smile and let her in.
She started laughing,"look at us we're bonding already!" She headed for the kitchen.
I prepared some sushi I ordered this morning, while she questioned me " So how was American and that career of yours?"
"Boring." I responded with a monotone voice.
"Any cute boyfriends?"
"No" I never really had a relationship with anyone in NY. I guess I was just to busy with my career that it didn't pop up in my head
"Well I'm not sure if Lou mentioned it, but we were together for 4 years?" She smirked. So Lous chose HER. The girl that didn't just bully him but also me. He must've been poisoned into it.
"Oo how was that and why'd you guys break up?"
"WE DIDNT BREAK UP. we're just taking a lil break okayyy. His fans can't know that he's taken or else chaos will happen"
"Oh"
"I don't have to worry about you trying to steal him away from me right?cuz you know the things that I can do. " She asked me with her evil eyes.
"Why would you worry about me, Lou just thinks of me as a friend. And we are only just friends so no need for your witchcraft powers ahaha" I was genuinely worried she was gonna put a curse on me.
"Good! See I knew we would get along just fine."
We'd spent the day by talking about her looks, her favorite memories of dating Lou, and she basically started dissecting all my flaws and insecurities. What a very fun and eventful day I had.
I was getting ready to go to bed when I heard someone outside my window. I grabbed my Harry Potter wand as a weapon, and approached my window very carefully and I-
"Boo! Ow ow ouch"
"IDIOT"
I helped Lou get in my room from my window. I accidentally stabbed him with a wand.
"ARE YOU MENTAL. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT" this kid has zero brain cell. How does he expect me not to stab something strange making noise outside my window.
"Sorry I didn't know you would stab me with your Harry Potter wand." He went over to my bed and layed on it.
"Um care to explain why you're here buddy?" I say on my bed.
"I just wanted to check in on how your day went with Rach." He looked at me and smiled
"You mean make sure she didn't give me food poisoning." I said sarcastically
"So a 4 year relationship with Rachel huh?" I wonder if he loved her. I wanted to know their relationship from his perspective.
"Oh she mentioned that huh. Yeah we were together but we broke things off. So I'm back in the real estate"
"Buddy she made it very clear, you guys were on a "break".Ahahah" was she lying then.
"We were but, I don't have any interest in her anymore"
He responded.
"Well you better make that clear, so there's no misunderstanding Lou."
" Yeah I know, I'm just not good at those things" he sat on my bed now and leaned his back on my headboard and I did the same. "So what about you? I need to know the relationship history of Lily Rae Bonavich."
He chuckled
"Well I've never been in love or petrified by anyone there,so no history in dating."
"So I didn't know you like lying now" he faced me. "C'mon not even one relationship?!"
"No, I simply didn't think it was necessary, I was too busy I guess" was he mocking me for not pulling any guys. I mean I did have admirers but I was too focused on my career.
"We'll when the day comes you get your first boyfriend, I'm gonna need all of his information Lils!" Is he playing this father game now.
"Since when did you become like my father" I joked around
"No I'm serious! I just want to make sure you'll be safe and know what you're doing." He sounded a bit serious
" I'm a big girl now. I can handle myself I gave him a smile."
And he just looked at me.
It's not his job, to be a father to me. Instead of worrying about my love life, he should be focused on his. I don't know if I should be mad or happy he's acting like this.
We fell asleep after that.
