Chapter One:

AN: I wrote this story when I was about 12 or 13 so there is many mistakes and sometimes an odd writing style. I'm not hot in the AOT fandom anymore and will probably never continue writing this story.

(Eren's P.O.V)

I glanced down upon a freshwater stream, thoroughly examining my features. My chocolate-brown ears protruding from my tussled hair.
"Hmm," I mumbled.
"I wonder if I can pass to the regular human eye? Or maybe I'm just cursed to be some wolf hybrid freak..."
I always thought about normal humans and their normal lifestyle. Unlike me they have actual homes and they don't forage for food; unless they're homeless of course.

They have so much but what do I have? Freedom I suppose, but it's so lonely. My whole life I've lived in this forest of lush plantation, breathtaking views, and beautiful array of flowers, and I've never seen another hybrid like me.

I cupped my hands, scooping up some of the freshwater, beginning to lap at it like a dog. Of course I could drink it like a normal human, but I don't have a cup and lapping it just comes naturally.
I paused from my drinking. There was an odd scent in the air...

"Hunters," I said under my breath.
Seconds later a doe darted in front of me, splashing water onto my face. Obviously the thing was startled and it seemed to come from the direction the scent was coming from.

The only time I ever have any interaction with regular beings is hunting season. I have nothing to do so I take up the responsibility to protect the wildlife here.

I followed the scent, heading in the direction the doe had come from.

"Where are you bastards..." I growled, keeping a sharp look out for any movement.

I crawled under a rather large bush, the sharp branches digging into my skin. The hair on the base of my tail stood on end and I smelt the scent of humans getting stronger. After a moment of silence I poked my head out from the bush, my wolf ears flattened against my head in annoyance.

I heard a voice a several meters away.

"Hey! Erwin I don't see any deer yet!" The voice seemed quite energetic and most likely belonged to a female.

"Shitty four eyes, you'll scare them all off with your loud mouth," a second voice said.

"You won't be catching any deer on my watch..." I spat. I decided to get a closer look, I need to see how many hunters there were. I slowly and silently crawled out from the bush moving in on the hunters.
I got close enough to see them all clearly.

There stood a large, muscular, blonde man with a rifle slung over his shoulder, wearing a camouflage attire. Along beside him was a rather bouncy, brunette girl who looked like she'd explode from excitement and lastly there was a short man, who looked bored beyond belief. He had Raven colored hair and a undercut that suited him extremely well.

I growled. Not caring if I was in close enough range for them to hear me.
"Stupid hunters think they can take from my forest," I felt a bit of anger along with excitement. Humans always intrigued me but they also pissed me off.

"Shh... Do you hear that?" The short guy said holding his finger up to silence the other two.
"I hear something,"

'Shit' I thought. 'He noticed I'm here...'
My heart pounded as he slowly started to take steps in my direction. I fought myself to keep back an instinctive growl from emitting from my throat.

The Ravenette came dangerously close to my hiding spot and I was debating weather to make a run for it or stay put. My fear got the best of me. I dashed out in front of the hunters running in a random direction.
