When I got home from school that day, I immediatley checked my email.

"Holy shit!" I yelled.

I got a response from someone named Viccy_Poo@yahoo.com.
So, I am a little sick, but interested, definitley. I can send you some videos of me preforming, just to get a taste of me. How I preform, that is (haha). My name is Victor Fuentes (but you can call me Vic) and I would certainly like to be in your band, Sleeping with Sirens! Thanks,

I smiled as wide as my cheeks would allow. There were video attachements with this Vic person, and I immediatley watched them. He was really good! He hit every note perfectly, got every time change right, and even his headbang was on point. He was perfect.

I sent him a response email,

I pasted a link with all the notes and a video so he would know how the song sounded and what the band was like.

I was so happy and nervous at the same time. What if he couldn't learn music? What if he was a jerk? What if he didn't mix well with the band?

Oh, we will have to see.

I picked up my phone and sent a message to all of them, telling them the great news.

I put my headphones on and listened to Lamb of God's Grace, thier best song, in my opinion.

I really hope this Vic guy works out.

I felt so much better today than I did yesterday. I could laugh without coughing until I couldn't breathe, and I talked like I didn't have thirty pounds of snot in my nose.

So I was in a good mood.

I bounded up the stairs after school and threw my backpack on my bed, sitting at my desk. Time to waste my time doing useless things on the computer, like always!

As soon as I unlocked it, I noticed I had a new email. It was from that band.

I literally squealed. This guy wanted to know more about me? That's so cool!

I clicked on the link and I read over thier songs, reading them over and over until I knew each note of each song by heart.

I liked them.

I pulled out my gutair and played the songs multiple times, getting used to them, and soon I had them perfect. As I moved my chair out of the way and hooked up my webcam, Mike walks in the room.

"Whatch'a doin'?" He asked playfully.

I looked at him and grinned. Setting up to make a video of me playing these songs for Sleeping with Sirens."

His smile widened. "Oh my god! They liked you?!?"

"Yeah," I said, "and they wanted me to learn some of thier songs, and i'm making the video now."
