Maya's Story

Chapter five: Ted

Ted was extremely happy with his new life. He had found a beautiful women and married her. And he had two beautiful children with her. He thought about Maya quite often. He tried very hard to forget her but he missed her. He had no idea he had another son either.

Since the funeral, a few things had happened. Maya took over from where her father had left off. Germain and Emily were planning to get married. And Germain wanted his father to attend his wedding. Maya was going to find Ted, for Germain.

So, Maya saddled Serenity and headed off to Rottherd. That was were Ted, was currently residing. It wouldn't take her very long to get where he was. He was living about a mile from the Rottherd-Constantinople line. So, it only took Maya about half the day to get there.

She rode Serenity, right up next to the steps and hopped off. She procedded up the steps and knocked on the front door.

A maid answered the door and said " Hello, may I help you?"

Maya responded "Hello, I'm looking for Ted Beerbottom?"

The maid replied "Let me go get him and please come sit in the waiting room."

Maya replied "Thank you"

The maid left the room and knocked on the door that led to the study.

Ted said "Come in."

The maid told him "There's a lady here to see you, Sir."

Ted said " Thank you. You may leave now."

The maid replied "Yes, sir"

Ted wondered who the lady was, as he was walking to grret her. As, Ted turned the corner, he stopped dead in his tracks and turned as white as a sheet.

Maya said "Ted are you, okay?"

Ted stammered "Y-Y-Yes. Are you real?"

Maya replied " Of Course, I am Ted."

Ted asked " What are you doing here?"

Maya replied " Our son is getting married soon. And he wanted his father to be there."

Ted shocked " I have a son?. How is that possible?"

Maya replied "Yes you do. I kept h im a secret from everyone. And our last night together in the cottage."

Ted said " Is he here, with you? And oh I remember that night."

Maya responded " No, he isnt with me"

Ted said " Oh, I see but I can't just leave, I have a family now."

Maya replied "I see, however we aren't asking you to move. He just wants his father to attend his wedding."

Ted replied "Maya, how long are you staying?"

Maya said "I'm not sure yet."

Ted replied " Oh, Okay, if you want you can stay here. What's our son's name?"

Maya said " Sure, I will stay here and his name is Germain."

Ted replied " Germain, I like his name." " So, how is your father?"

Maya sadly said "He is dead; he died a few weeks ago"

Ted replied " I'm so sorry, Maya"

Maya said " It's fine"

Ted said " Do you want a tour of the house?"

Maya replied "Sure"

So, Ted showed Maya around his house. By the time, they got close to Ted's bedroom. Old feelings started stirring in both of them. Then the next thing, Maya knew Ted was kissing her. Ted and Maya slowly made their way to his bedroom. Were they made passionate love for part of the night. In the morning, They both knew it was very wrong. Ted would feel more quilty because he had cheated on his wife. Ted thought he had gotten rid of all his feelings for Maya. Turned out, he was wrong, he was still in love with her. Maya had never gotten over Ted, so the feeling hadn't shocked her.

Maya was already on her way back home. She had left Ted, still sleeping. And when Ted, woke up, he would find the note, she had left him behind. 

Her note said,

Dear Ted,

Thank you for the most wonderful ngiht again.

Love, Maya

Ted smiled but he was more interested in seeing his son. He couldn't believe he had a son with Maya. Krystal and the kids wouldn't be coming till next week .There were spending two weeks over at Krystal's parents house. Ted was busy packing, he wanted to get on the road.

Ted said " Butter, please get my carriage and horses ready. Also, put my luggage into the carriage."

The butler replied "Yes, Sir"

Since, Maya left earlier than Ted, she was far ahead of him. About 45 minutes to be exact. She would get home around lunch time. Ted had just set out, on his way to Winchester castle. He was feeling extremely anxious because he wanted to meet his son.

Germain was having trouble sleeping because he had to many thoughts running through his mind. He wondered what his mother was doing, right now. He also wondered if his mother found his father. He couldn't wait to marry Emily and start his new life with her.  Germain had about a thousand different questions for his father. He was hoping his father would attend his wedding.

Maya was close to being home. When she had this very weird feeling. This feeling felt really familiar, like when she was first pregnant with Germain, 3 years ago. But, there was no way, no possible chance, that she was pregnant now. They only had one night of passion, but it was still possible.

She was also thinking about changing the Country's name. She wasn't sure what to rename it yet and she was just tossing ideas arond in her head. And she had a few ideas already decided but she watned to run them by Germain first. She wanted to see what ideas, he liked. Her ideas were Germain, RoseShade and Mahi (Ma-He)

Ted was busy thinking about Maya. He had a lot of questions for Germain. He was extremely curious about Germain because his other son looked nothing like him. Yes, he was still in love with Maya but he was married to Krystal. He still couldn't believe she never told him, he had a son until now. He had no idea, how she kept her pregnancy, a secret from her father. He didn't know her father that well but he figured he would've noticed. Anyways, he didn't want to know her father that well. He did feel bad about her father passing though.
