Chapter Three

A full week later, I was in my room with Teren he insisted of helping me heal my wound for I have accidently broke open my skin with the broken glass vase I accidently hit and smashed in the floor while I'm having my coffee.

"You should try to be careful next time, when something broke don't try to clean it up yourself you have maids for a reason dumb girl" Teren said as he puts the band aid on my hand.

"I know I'm sorry" I answered, he sighed and looked at me "Just don't do it again its the fifth time this week that you have wound yourself if you wanna commit suicide do yourself a favor and just jump at your balcony" I frowned at what he said 

"Who say's I wanna commit suicide huh dumb guy I am a clumsy girl and you know that stupid" I said, he laughed and patted my head "I know but just don't do it if ever" I raised my eyebrow its okay to be rude if mother is not around "I am not that kind of person Teren believe me"

He smiled " I believe in you"  I can't help but smile back at him "You know sometimes I really like you" Teren's facial expression change he looked shock that later turn into a smirk I stand up and walk at the door "I know you have always liked me Avrielle that's why you're always acting annoyed when I enter the room right?" 

I stopped, look back at him and smiled even bigger "Not in that way Teren, not in that way" I turned around and got out leaving Teren alone in my room. I wince as I make my way down in the stairs scared that I might slip and fall. I reached the kitchen only to see Maddie and Lana in the kitchen they both looked at me as I approached them

"Is your wound alright now Avrielle?" said Lana she looked worried 

"Yeah Teren healed it for me" I said as my sister eyes grew bigger 

"what?" I looked at them confused as to why they look so shocked in what I said

"You never let anyone heal your wound Avrielle not me, Maddie, even mother and even Lina" I suddenly feel a pang in my heart I glared at Lana. "I'm sorry Avrielle I knew her death is too hurtful for you sorry for saying her name forgive me sister" Lana said apologeticly, I instantly forgave her, its not her fault, she know nothing about what happen between me and Lina.

"Its okay " I smiled at her, she smiled back and hugged me " now Avrielle, tell me is there something going on between you and Teren" Lana said with this smirk in her face. I shook my head "I don't like him as a friend already why would I like him more than that?and besides I only let him heal my wound so he will leave me alone" I explained, Lana nodded 

"Alright I believe you Avrielle, me and Maddie we are going to the library you should join us" Lana said, you see I don't like spending my time with my sister since Lina died.

"Uh, I don't know actually" I said "common please sister" Maddie said convincing me i could never say no to my younger sister. 

"Alright I'll join you" I said as they started to dragged me to the library, we spent hours looking for books and just having a sister moment that I miss a lot, if only she were here....

"Hey Avrielle!" Teren said, I almost tripped when he called my name "What?!!" I shouted at him not even reminding myself that if mother heard that she could kill me instantly, stupid "respect Teren always" rule.

"Hey no need to shout at me" He said, "yeah, yeah, what is it that you want?" I said trying to hide my annoyance. "Where do you think you are going this hour huh" he asked "Where do people sleep? stupid I'm going to my room" I whispered scared that someone can hear me and tell mother. 

"I think you're heading in the wrong direction" Teren said smirking, oh goodness I looked around and realize this isn't the way to my room but the way outside, now I look like I'm trying to sneak out. I look back at Teren still smiling at me, he must think I'm the stupid one now. I smiled back at him" why thank you for telling me now I must go" I turned around and started walking when he grabbed my wrist making me turn my face to him. I looked at him, he smiled "sleep well" he said and smiled even more. 

I smiled back "You too, now let go of my hand or else I will not hesitate to slap you right here" he lets go of my hand" Goodnight Avrielle" he said and started walking away " Goodnight Stupid" I screamed and run to my room seeing my sisters fast asleep I lay myself comfortable and sleep to end this day.

Oh how I hope mother didn't hear that or I will be in big trouble....
