talking to the moon

Chapter four

I woke up in the middle of the night with a strange feeling in my chest I jumped out of my bed to check on my sisters, I let out a sigh when I saw that they are still here "Thank goodness its not a nightmare" I thought, I went to the balcony to see that tonight is a full moon "so pretty" I whispered, the moon never fails to amaze me I took my time mesmerized by the scenery when I heard a creaking noise I looked back and saw nothing, I brushed it off and look back then I heard it again, this time I got really bothered and decided to investigate. 

I walked back inside only to see that the door to my room is slowly opening, I freaked out and rushed to the door, but whoever was pushing it was too strong, I was thrown to the floor and the door swung open, I saw nothing but darkness but I know for sure someone or something was there. I felt a hand grabbing my feet it started to drag me.

"NO! NO! LET ME GO! PLEASE!" I screamed but no one heard me I call out to my sisters but they were paralyze to their sleep, I feel so hopeless "Help me please...." I pleaded as the thing drag me outside my room 

I woke up again, breathing so hard I sighed "Just another nightmare" I whispered, my sisters are still fast asleep, I haven't had a nightmare in a week, I put my hand in my  chest, my heart is beating so fast I almost got dragged, I can't help but wonder what if I didn't woke up what will happen, I brushed it off and walked outside my room. I reached the kitchen and went straight to get some water, "Its a nice full moon tonight huh" I thought to myself trying to calm myself down and forget the nightmare I just experienced. I was on my way to my room when I heard a creaking sound I stopped and looked around only to see nothing then I heard it again this time a little louder, I freaked out and sprinted somewhere else more like the garden. I'm shaking and trembling as I walked into the garden, I went to the forest part of it only to be greeted by pure darkness but I didn't care I just want to get away, I keep on walking then I heard footsteps, I stopped walking but the footsteps didn't, confirming it wasn't mine I hid in the bush "Please be a nightmare, please be a nightmare, I want to wake up please..."

"what are you doing here in the middle of the night?" I jumped out the bush, startled I look back only to see Teren, What in the world is he doing here? Strange guy.

"What are you doing here Teren?" I asked, he smiled at me " I should be the one asking that, what took you here Avrielle? I think its a little too early to take a morning walk and a little too late to be awake at this hour?
"
"I-" he cut me off "I wonder what will happen if I tell your mother?" my eyes widened
" No, no you don't understand, bear with me please, let me explain Teren" I pleaded I don't wanna get in trouble. "you should be" I sat down at the bench he followed me and sat next to me, I sighed and told him everything, I don't know how long we talked but all I know is I felt a little better a little safer, He did nothing but listened, he actually listened one thing he doesn't really do, I'm actually surprised
