Douluo Dalu: Seeing the world

Chapter 9

Tang San and Xiao Wu arrived in the kitchen. Tang Yin was just about to cook, when he sense his brother signature and a girl signature. "San Ge, are you coming with someone?" Tang Yin asked. "Xiao Yin, I was so worried about you. Wang Sheng just told me about the attendant rules and jobs. I will get the permission token after this. This is Xiao Wu, she's defeated me in a fight and she is the ruler of dorm seven". "Hello, Tang Yin. Nice to meet you" Xiao Wu greet. "Nice to meet you too. Do you both already eaten? If not I can make something for the both of you". "We haven't eaten yet, just some snacks" Xiao Wu answered.

Tang Yin nodded and started to cook. He make some potato salad and fried rice. He chopped up potatoes and mix them with vegetables, olive oil, and lemon. There's no mustard and others dressing, but this Will do. For the fried rice, he just used leftover rice, eggs, and some vegetables. Meat was considered a precious ingredients and was given to the students. The school was actually pretty well of considering they can buy meat and oil. In this medieval era, oil and meat was something that commoners rarely eat, and fruit was expensive. When Tang Yin cooked at home, the ingredients was mostly just vegetables and rice, eggs and meat was hunted by Tang San, and coarse flour. Tang Yin has to wracked his brain thinking how to save ingredients, but make delicious food at the same time. Fortunately, he learns chinese, japanese, and western dishes, so it wasn't hard tweaking the recipe. Tang San and Tang Hao even praise the food, while Tang Yin just think this dishes could only be considered flavourless in his past life.

After he finished cooking, he divided the food into three portions. Tang San,  and Xiao Wu eat it voraciously, while Tang Yin eat it calmly. "Tang Yin, I don't want to offense you, but are you really not a girl? You even cook better than me, and shorter than me. Even your appearance is more feminine than me" Xiao Wu lamented. "I am a boy, it's just I inherited more of my mother features and height" Tang Yin grumbled. He just irritated having his mother height and features, why can't he inherited some of his father features too. He looked exactly like his mother, except for his blue and purple hair, well that's what Tang San and Tang Hao said to him.

After finishing their meal, Tang San and Tang Yin both went to Grandmaster office. Grandmaster want to know more about Tang San twin spirits. They reached Grandmaster office in ten minutes.
"I want to asked, is Tang Yin have twin spirits as well?". "Yes teacher, we both have twin spirits" Tang Yin answered. "Could you tell me what's your second spirit?". Tang San and Tang Yin looked at each other, and Tang San nodded. He tell Grandmaster that both of them have the same second spirit, and proceed to show him the clear sky hammer. Grandmaster was in shock seeing it. He tell them not to let others see their other spirit. Tang San and Tang Yin was relieved, their teacher can be trusted.

They leave Grandmaster office with a study plan. Tang San then get a permission tokens for Tang Yin, and escort him to his dorm. Seeing the condition of his dorm, Tang San was uncomfortable. Even though he's a working student, at least he have better living conditions than his younger twin. The bed doesn't even has a mattress. "Look who's return? Is it your master Tang Yin? I can say you  two look familiar, are your family tired of a useless blind boy?" Xiao Zi insulted. Tang San just smiled, and proceed to twisted his arm. Xiao Zi screamed loudly, and said, "How dare you. I'm the attendant of Xiao Chen-Yu, my master is the child of Nuoding Castelan". "You're just an attendant I'm sure your master wouldn't want a burden of an attendant" Tang San throw back. A yellow spirit ring shines brightly in the dorm and suddenly vines irrupted  and coiling around Xiao Zi. "My first spirit ring comes from a Datura Snake, which is famous for its poison. I'm sure you know that mean my vines also has Datura Snake poison in it. Unfortunately, I don't have the antidote" Tang San said calmly with a smile. This sight really strike fear not just in Tang Yin room, but to the whole dorm. Xiao Zi was pleading for forgiveness over and over again. "I accept your apology" Tang Yin hurriedly said. He was afraid that Tang San really going to kill Xiao Zi. "Well, you plead well enough. Just don't try to disturb my brother".

"Tang San, please let this over with. Besides, Xiao Yin is unharmed" Lin Han defused. Tang San just nodded and he give permission for Tang Yin and Lin Han to enter dorm seven. In dorm seven, people treated Tang Yin and Lin Han nicely. Tang Yin and Lin Han was given a bed by Xiao Wu. The dorms have many unused bed, so it was easy to give them one of the many beds in there.

After the episode, Tang Yin just smile and show his zither spirit to Xiao Wu. Xiao Wu was fascinated and asked Tang Yin to play it, with help from Lin Han. Meanwhile, Tang San was explaining to his dorm mates about their circumstances, and everyone accepted it. Besides, Tang San tell everyone that Tang Yin used to spar with him, and they understand that Tang Yin is not as fragile as he looks, even when he's blind.

Tang Yin relented, and he played river flows in you while singing a lyrics he got in youtube from his previous Life. Lin Han was mistified, he stare at Tang Yin singing while playing zither. It's like the world was blurring and he can only see his best friend in it. Soon, the music and singing was heard to all of the students from dorm seven, and they begin to unconsciously listen to it. The performance was ended soon enough, but Lin Han was still dazed looking at Tang Yin. "Xiao Han, Xiao Han, snapped out of it. You've been looking at Xiao Yin for the past 10 minutes". Lin Han snapped at that, seeing Tang Yin who was smiling uncomfortably after being stared at for so long. "I'm going to sleep now. Good night Xiao Yin" Lin Han blushed and suddenly run.
