"Where are we going?" she asked impatiently for the hundredth time. He chuckled at this wife's impatience.
"Doc just trust me" he whispered before leading her down the path. She sighed in defeat and carefully followed his guide. She wasn't one for surprises and she abhorred losing her sense of sight but her husband had something planned that he was adamantly refusing to be spoiled.
"Are we there yet?" she asked once more as they stopped walking. She heard a chuckle and rolled her eyes albeit the blindfold.
"Yes... Yes, we are" he supplied and gently removed the patch of silk covering her eyes.
She blinked as she accustomed herself to the light reflected by the stretch of the pristine seas. She realized they were by the cliff at the edge of Pico Mares. She stole a glance at him, wondering whatever it was he had planned. Turned out she needed not to wait too long. A glimpse at the skies was all it took for her breath to hitch, her eyes to water and her heart to burst in the seams.
Thereupon the clear blue sky, a small aircraft trailed behind two words: Marry me?
She laughed while wiping away her tears as she turned towards him, "Of course I will, again, you dork" she quipped before pulling him towards her, claiming his lips in a chaste kiss before embracing him amorously.
Ian Marcus is the dorkiest dork there is but he's her dork and she wouldn't have it any other way.
