MIKE'S POV:

"Come on!" Will squealed running up the massive hill, his hand in mine.

"God, you're gonna pull my arm from its socket!" I joked sarcastically as he practically dragged me up the hill. He was holding a weaved basket that held a red and white cheakered table cloth, and our lunch. I was gripping my guitar case tight because he was forcing me to ran up the hill. I could see he is especially excited for our date today, and honestly, I am too.

We finally made it up the hill, and we were gasping for air. Will yanked the table colth out of the basket, and placed it on the ground. We were surronded by wildflowers, tall grass, and an incredible veiw of Hawkins.

"So what did you pack?" I asked him pointing at the basket.

Will beamed and opened the basket. Inside was a variety of colorful fruits, vegetables, desserts, and sandwiches.

I was speechless. I gazed at Will, with my jaw dropped. He started to giggle, and handed me a sandwich.

"I grew all of the vegatables in my garden, I made the sandwiches, and I made the strawberry shortcake. The fruit is from the store though... But I did buy it with my own money... So... Beat that!" He laughed.

"Seriously, I can't even COMPARE to the amount of effort you put into this!"

I took a bite out of the sandwich. It was absolutely amazing.

"Oh my God, Will this is SO GOOD!" I exclaimed with my mouth half full with food.

"Thank you, but Mike, seriously, close your mouth, I don't wanna see that!"

"Oops haha."

We finished eating the sandwiches, the fruit, and the vegatables, and it was time to eat the eye catching strawberry shortcake.

It was to die for. The taste was rich and delicious.

"WILL, seriously, this is WONDERFUL! How did learn to cook so good?"

"I guess just watching my mom and going through the TONS of old cookbooks we have."

"Wow." I grabbed my guitar and pulled it out of its case. I started to strum a melody. Will rested his head on my shoulder and we gazed over the millions of radiant flowers and Hawkins itself.

I started to sing. Light and soft. Will swayed to the beat. The corners of his lips turned upright. He closed his eyes. As I played, I took a moment to admire his angelic face, his long eyelashes, and his tiny, fradgile hands.

I put the guitar down. Will stayed lying on my shoulder. He picked some flowers from around us, and he starred weaving them together. The sky blues mixed in with lavender, peachy pinks, and sunny yellows made for a delicate, enchanting crown. Will gently placed the crown in my hair.

His eyes became wide and his cheeks became pink.

"Oh... Wow. You look so... Beautiful." He whisphered, playing with his hands.

The crown intertwined with my thick hair. Will took out his Polaroid camera from the basket.

"... Can I?"

"You don't have to ask." I laughed.

Will took a picture of me, and smiled at the result of it. He picked up more flowers and started making a crown for himself. Once he was finished he put the crown in his hair, smiling.

"Why are you literally so adorable?" I asked chuckling.

Will starting giggling. He took a picture of both of us in our crowns. I kissed him on the cheek right as he took the picture.

Will blushed and then layed on the table cloth, gazing at the brilliant blue sky. I layed down with him. We stared at the clouds and talked about what they could be. We held hands, and ran through the grass, picking flowers and spinning around. We sketched our surroundings with Will's old colored pencils. He gave a me his drawing and it was wonderful. We laughed at our selfs, and played around.

It was a beautiful day to share with a beautiful boy. I never want to leave this place.
