Running late to work Dolores did her best to not fall on her way to the kitchen, the children decided to have a play fight the last night that resumed in cushions being everywhere in the living room even in the hallway. As she entered the kitchen they all looked at her with innocentd puppies eyes they knew what they did the little evil.
"Let them be darling it's December, they are with their grandma. Plus the maid will be there soon. Before you said it, if they wasn't running late as you are they will have cleaned I didn't raise you lazy I won't do that with them."
Kissing her mother forehead Dolores just shook her head taking a sip of her coffee her mother prepared for her as her eyes roamed the very colorful big kitchen only her mother could put that much color in a same room and make it work. She had to say it was cheerful it reminded her of the Zhinery she knew.
"Mom your phone." Leonardo voice rang in her ears bringing her back in the reality as he swallowed his waffle honey all over his face. Taking the device she immediately smiled seeing the name surprising her family whose gaze never left her as she responded.
"Hey stranger good morning!" Kaiser entered the kitchen at the same time to tell her they have to go but she held her hand up shushing him.
He took her bag and case then walked out. "Please hold a moment." Kissing her family she walked out then in her car leaving silence in the kitchen.Aurora wondered who was the person her daughter will say please to she never did that only with the one sat in the kitchen, the way she smiled was clear evidence she was smitten with that person her expression was the same she would have addressing one of her children. Humming she pushed it away knowing she will be informed at the right time that was her daughter.
"Love thanks you for waiting, I was getting in the car. Wait aren't you at school? Why are you calling me at this time of the day?" As she settled in the car, Dolores apologized to the teen sitting on Mackenzie bed as she was taking her bath.
"Chill lore, we are Friday that means my school let us go Wednesday. You know perks to be in a private school thanks to Kenzie and now I'm at her house in her bedroom can you believe that? I'm so happy it is the first time in years! Okay, tomorrow if you want you can come by."
Flabbergasted by the new, Dolores mouth opened and closed her mouth numerous times not believing her luck. Clearing her throat, she found her voice again.
"I, don't you think you have to tell her first?"
"Nah! Trust me if we do she will run away. You are her friend right? Even if she disappeared on you, you come her tomorrow and you two will talk about it. If there is a thing with Kenzie she never hold grudges. You will see. Plus she did said I can have friend coming. Say you are coming pretty pleaseee."
Ella voice got to Dolores heart in a way she could not said no, she was Mackenzie sister, they seemed getting along pretty well even if she was a little remorseful for the friend thing she knew it was the only way the thing was now that she could reach her heart was doing weird thing to her beating wildly in her chest.
She was Dolores Sanya Di Rio nothing frighten her but Mackenzie pinching the bridge of her nose she exhaled slowly shaking her head.
"Okay then sweetie, thanks you for letting me know. Can I bring anything?"
"Oh yeah! How about we cook tomorrow? Wait you know how to cook right?"
Chuckling at Ella frantic question Dolores eyes peeked out side through her tinted windows.
"Sure honey. What is it about the cooking thing?"
"Ahah! Good Mackenzie love cooking mom always said whenever she will be angry at something she will bring her in the kitchen, you know I do love it too. It will also be a diversion for her."
