Amelia's POV
I wake up to the sound of tapping on my window. As I'm getting up from my bed I see a brown owl outside with a letter in its mouth. I open the window and grab the letter, its from Hogwarts. My eyes widen as I make my way down the stairs.
"Severus!" I yell jumping down the last stair.
I get to the kitchen to see Severus drinking his coffee.
"What in the world are you screaming about this early?" He asks.
"I got my Hogwarts letter!" I say trying to catch my breath. Severus looks at me unimpressed.
"Okay, we will visit Diagon Alley tomorrow to buy your supplies." He sips his coffee.
I sigh as I walk to the pantry to grab a piece of bread to toast.
"Is it true Harry Potter will be in my year?" I ask with my eyes focused on the bread.
"Yes." He responds.
"Does he know who I am?" I say while putting the bread in the toaster.
"No"
"Does anyone know who I am?" I turned.
"There are rumors that the Dark Lord had a daughter, but it was never confirmed due to your safety."
"So will they know now that I am attending Hogwarts?"
"Yes, the ministry has agreed it is time everyone knew." He puts down his cup.
"Oh...okay." I mumbled as I grab my toast and walk back to my room.
I wasn't sure how I felt about people knowing who I was. I mean what if they hated me or worse, what if they tried to get revenge.
I get to my room and I look over my letter since I didn't read it.
