"Hold me cara mia, let our love be the light in their misery for I promise you on this brightly lit night that the love I carry for you will never be able to escape my grasp. My beautiful Eleana, my lips shall always seek yours and only yours. Soft kisses will be placed on your soft tender ones, soft kisses will touch your smooth sweet perfumed skin, for as long as I am to live. This I promise you cara mia. They will never break us apart."
[Cara mia = My beloved.]

Eleana who stared at Luciano's face with much adoration, caressed it lovingly before throwing herself in his embrace, making sure to hold him as tightly as she could.

"Oh Luciano, why must our love offend them so, I will never leave you, I love you my love."

"...And I love you more cara mia."

I fanned my face to stop myself from crying. Luciano was just so....perfect. He was the epitome of tall, dark and handsome with a tint of sweetness to him. Gosh, why couldn't men like him exist in real life?

I laughed to myself. 'Yeah, right'

The annoying sound of my phone ringing interrupted my romance filled solo movie night I've so desperately been wanting to have.

I sighed and rolled over to grab it from my night stand.

"...Hello?"

"Hello dear, it's Ms. Maisel, I hope I'm not intruding your night, but I really need a favor."

My eyes widened and I turned down the volume on my tv to hear my boss better.

"N-no, not at all Ms. Maisel, what can I help you with?"

"Well, my granddaughter was supposed to look after the library for me today but she canceled last minute to go to some stupid party. I know it's your day off but I'm hopeless, I have no one. Would you mind working tonight dearie?"

"N-not at all Ms. Maisel, I wasn't really doing anything else really." I said while awkwardly laughing...and lying.

"Good! I left the keys at their usual spot for you. Thank you dear, I really appreciate you. I have to go now okay? Call me if you need anything."

Click.

I put my phone down and turned off the tv. Guess I have to work tonight.

The library opens at six and closes at eight on Tuesdays, so I luckily wouldn't be working long.

I walked over to my closet to look for something casual to wear and ended up settling for my old crinkled white blouse and my favorite long floral skirt. I changed into my clothes and put my frizzy hair into a low bun which almost took me half an hour to do so. My hair was getting on my last nerve, I swear.
