VIII : Assassination and the Undead

————Inside the Capital————

After infiltrating the capital, Rades began releasing his army of corpses on the streets of the Royal Capital. These corpses then attack every citizen in their sight regardless of gender or age.

City guards try to retaliate but their attacks are not enough to prevent any of the corpses from advancing even further. A member of the guard runs off to inform the Magic Knights.

————Banquet Room————

The Magic Knights are busy trying to strategize their defense and counterattack of the city using the Golden Dawn's Siren Tium's Stone Magic: Stone Model of the World.

"Impressive, he made an exact model of the capital, including the fires and the people" said Klaus. 'Magic at this level of detail requires an extraordinary ability to sense magic.'

"This is far superior versions to how my magic flower guide posts works" said Mimosa looking impressed.

"How are they able to attack multiple locations at the same time?" Nozel spoke up deep in thought in how this was possible. 

"There must be a Spatial Magic user with them" said Fuegoleon. 'This should not be possible. The city's magic barrier should prevent this from happening. Something must have taken the barrier down.'

Asta, seeing that they were taking their time cuts in, "you are wasting time while people are dying. I am leaving." He yelled as he took off. Grabbing his smaller sword off his back. He began running out the doors down the long corridor.

"Where are you going?" One of the magic knights asked.

Not bothering to turn around, Asta just replied, "where ever the screams are the loudest so I can save people."

Leopold decided to follow his rival. As he has made an excellent point. "This is the perfect chance to see my rival in action, Wait up Asta" said Leopold as he began to chase Asta.

"Leo, I'm gonna have to talk with him after all this is over" said Fuegoleon as his Grimoire opened and a big flame lion appeared beneath him and lifted him up, "Me and the Black Bull girl will go after boy and Leo" he said as helped Noelle onto the flaming lion.

"Silver Eagles, you take the center area where the enemy is mostly located," said Fuegoleon as he started giving instructions, "Blue Rose Knights, you take the east" he said.

"I will go with them," Yami cut in as he flicked his cigarette away.

"Understood" said Charlotte as Sol created an earth golem for them.

"Golden dawn split into two groups, one north west and the other west" he said as Yuno, Mimosa and Aleedora got on the Wind Cloud.

Klaus took the remaining the remaining Golden Dawn members with him on his  gaudy magic vehicle. "Remember failure today will bring disgrace to the magic knights, so win" he said looking determined. 'I will not fail like I did in the dungeon.'

"Got it" they all said before they all left the room. Then from under one of the tables Charmy walked out.

"Huh, where did everyone go, I snuck in with Asta and Noelle to get some of the food, but now it looks like something is happening" she said before standing up, "Looks like I need to make my great entrance," she began but suddenly she smelled delicious food.
