————In Town————

"Let me come with you," Noelle stated.

As Asta, Gauche, and Theresa prepare to leave, Asta turned around.

"You should stay here in case the kids comeback."

"Noelle, you can't fly properly. Hang out here and report this to the headquarters" Gauche ordered.

With that taken care of, Asta, Gauche, and Theresa headed out to find the children.

————Cavern————

Marie was petrified. She had no idea where she was. She just woke up after feeling her brothers magic through the small mirror she always kept on her. All the other kids around her kept walking forward. Their eyes glazed over.

'Where am I, this isn't the church bedroom. Why does everyone look so strange' she thought. Realizing her mirror was lightly glowing she pulled it out. 'Big brother told me this mirror could protect me if I needed it to.'

"Huh, whats this" the mage controlling the Snow Magic said walking over to Marie, "Looks like someone was able to break free of my spell, if you don't stay under my spell we cant be friends."

"But that isn't right, you shouldn't be using your magic to make people be your friend, it's wrong" Marie said standing up. The mirror held tightly in her tiny hands.

The mage looked annoyed by the girls comment, he then backhanded her across the face. "Don't talk to me like that, friends arent suppose to act that way" he said looking annoyed.

Marie started to get back up. A loud voice from the dark side of the cavern scared her to death. 'There are two of them?' She worriedly thought.  The girl became crestfallen as she realized she couldn't do anything but hope for help to come.

"What do you think you are doing, you moron" said a man as he began walking over to them. He had black hair and wearing a shirt that showed off some of his hairy chest. On his face he had only one lense over one of his eyes.

"I'm sorry" the mage said looking upset from having his hair pulled.

"In order to get paid, we have to steal the Magic from these children for that they need to be alive" the glasses wearing mage said as he poured magic power into the only lense on his glasses. He looked at Marie who was now looking afraid, from the lense he could see how much magic power she had, "This one will be best one out of them all" he said.

Turning over to the side so he could examine the haul, he noticed a kid who's magic power could barely be seen.

"What is this, I thought I told you to get the ones with the most magic" he said looking annoyed at the scarf wearing mage.

"I'm sorry" he said looking frightened and brought his hands up in defense expecting to be hit.

Instead, the mage ignored him and picked up the kid who turned out to be Marco, Rebecca's little brother.
