Chapter 10

The game continued with Kageyama's serve. Tossing the ball before leaping, he spiked it a little bit too hard making it go out.

It was Oikawa's turn to serve and the crows prepared themselves.

I watched as Oikawa spun the ball in his hands, before tossing it up high and spike it towards Nishinoya.

'It took me several replays of the recording, but I finally figured out the reason behind the monster serve. Other than the strong amount of power he puts into the spike, there's another reason for it to be un-receivable. It's because of the way it spins. But I don't need to worry about it'

I smirked as I watched Nishinoya cleanly received it, making the crowd cheer.

' That little warm-up I did  for them must have been a little bit of help'

"Woah he kept Oikawa's serve in play!!"

"Man, Karasuno's libero is really amazing!!"

"Noya nice receive!"

The ball began heading over to the setter's place. Kageyama used what he learned from Nekoma's setter, Kageyama looked to his side, fooling Kindaichi, he then tosses to Hinata doing their freak quick.

"Yeessss!!"

"Alright!"

I then sigh in relief that they didn't receive it.

'Even if they've seen the freak quick before it won't be easy for them to stop it if they can't get to Hinata. This match has been a battle of countermeasures since the very beginning' 

I looked at Oikawa and narrowed my eyes on him, something wasn't right, but I figured it out.

"Isa, Oikawa was targeting Nishinoya right?" Ukai asked me and I nodded my head, "Yeah, he must've wanted to check what he's capable of, but now that he knows that Noya is able to receive his serves, he won't be targeting him anymore."

The strange feeling I've been feeling earlier seemed only to get bigger. I watched as Hinata blocked Kindaichi and noticed that Kindaichi seemed to jump a bit higher than Hinata.

'Huh... a time lag??'

Iwaizumi served the ball to the other side with Daichi cleanly received it and sending the ball to Kageyama.

"Send it over here!!"

Hinata yelled as he quickly runs up with Kindaichi following him to block. But Kageyama set the ball to Asahi who scores a point.

"Alright!"

"Asahi nice one!"

I watched Oikawa eyed Hinata and noticed how he've been eyeing him for a while now. I saw his smile widen.

"...I got it."

I shuddered as Oikawa gave his coach a sign for a time out.
