Are you ok because we haven't talked since that night with your dad, Maya started the conversation as her and Andy were driving back to the station.
I didn't sleep with Sullivan Andy told her hoping her friend would believe her at least
There's tension between the two of you, everyone feels it.
But obviously her friend didn't believe her as she repeats I didn't sleep with him as her anger starts to take over
I honestly don't care who you sleep, I care that you won't talk to me.
She looks away for a few seconds otherwise the tears will start to fall. They are about to name a new fire chief and Sullivan want battalion chief and he wants to make me captain. He says if we have a relationship it will mess with our promotions. He says he's protecting me her voice breaking  as she carries on talking I didn't sleep with him.

Back at the fire station Maya sat thinking about the captain position she knew at the moment she the right person for the job so a talk with  gibson she ended there what ever it was, seeing right through her he knew she was going after the captain position.

Using the the fact that her best friend has died a few days ago and she's no fit state Maya goes to Sullivan and tells him she wants to captain the promotion.
Maya tried to make small talk with Andy She was cleaning the fire engine, offering to get to her to for a burger and beer but Andy wasn't in the mood ,Can you...Can stop

That same evening Andy watched as Maya and Sullivan talk, she couldn't hear the conversation but she had a pretty good idea what it was about.
Sir I'm not sure I understand Maya started speaking her and everyone else knew the job was Andy's
I'm recommending you as captain of station 19. Unless you have any objections. Sullivan really wanted her not to take  the  promotion and to be a good friend that she supposed to be and give it Andy

The words out Maya got the captain job and none of the team especially Jack or Andy was happy about it there. Right now Andy was pissed she couldn't look at Maya or Sullivan.

Andy there was a lot to consider in this decision, you only get one shot at this job. One shot to impress,one shot to move up. I thought you should take some time to process your grief

Yes lieutenant that's all and with that she walks away. She move moved quickly out of the beanery as that look he gave her made her want to through her arms around him but she knew she couldn't.
As she left he took his last two pain killers for his leg, he tried to get appointments with Dr kerasik but that didn't help.

She took a walk and found this amazing condemned burn site, she was a me to take all her anger out by smashing walls with sledge and throwing beer bottles at the wall, she felt so much better. Andy kept going back to the site when she finished work this one day she goes down to the burn site noticing that Jack was there as well.
How do you know about this site she asked him. Jack knew the site was here as he always came to the place, they say and talked for a while agreed that they would find a place together so Andy didn't have to see Maya.
Andy still refused to open up about anything from being about robert to Ryan's death, so Jack have up asking the only person she wanted to talk to wasn't by her side she told Robert loads that none of the team knows about she hates him but she misses his present
