As the excitement faded away into a soothing tranquil atmosphere, Adrien subconsciously reached for Marinette's hand that was dangling by her side.

Without even thinking, the bluenette immediately gave her boyfriend's hand a slight squeeze as she lovingly gazed into his beautiful, emerald green eyes. Now that they were alone, the blond suddenly felt more confident.

He returned her smile after giving her a playful wink, which in turn caused the shy violinist to slightly blush. She didn't know what he was planning, but he seemed to be up to something...

The reality of all the various possibilities suddenly made her feel rather anxious. All she wanted was to step outside of the auditorium for some peace and quiet, but Adrien seemed adamant that they needed to go to the Eifel Tower.

Just as soon as they stepped outside, they began making their way towards the metalic building. Although Adrien's suggestion was very sudden and unexpected, Marinette was curious yet excited to know what all the hype was about.

Not being able to conceal her curiosity any longer, the young designer opened her mouth to say something, but stopped herself when Adrien gave her a concerned look.

"Is everything okay..?" he immediately frowned.

Marinette quickly nodded her head before giving him a kind smile, "Yes. Everything is perfect... But-"

Her sudden hesitation gave the pianist a painful sense of unwanted familiarity. Most of the time, her indecisiveness was a bad thing, because that meant that something was wrong... But Adrien was just hoping that it wasn't too serious.

Instantly interrupting his negative train of thought, his girlfriend continued her rambling.

"I'm just curious as to why we are heading towards the Eifel Tower... I know that it's spectacular and all. But I also know that it's usually closed at this hour..."

The blond could feel himself relax. He took in a deep breath before exhaling in relief. Finally knowing what she was thinking, Adrien stopped in his tracks in order to plant a loving kiss upon the bluenette's forehead.

Instantly, Marinette could feel the heat rise to her pale cheeks. How did he always manage to catch her off guard?

"B- Wh- I... Uh..." she couldn't even form a logical sentence, since the butterflies in her stomach were somehow preventing her from speaking.

After she had exhausted her final attempt, she merely tried to hide her rosy cheeks in her hands while looking forward.

Giving the embarrassed girl a mischievous smirk, the blond slightly squeezed her tiny hand, "Don't worry, Princess. Everything will be fine. Trust me!"

Those words gave the baker a sence of internal peace because she knew that she could trust him; no matter what! And since he seemed very confident about his unknown 'plan', Marinette unconsciously knew that everything would be okay.

Not saying anything more, the bluenette gave Adrien a reassuring smile before following him hand-in-hand.

A calm silence soon filled the space between them as they continued to make their way towards their final destination.

After about twenty minutes had passed by, the two teenagers eventually made it to the Eifel Tower. Although the darkness was surrounding them, the artificial lights that were present all over the tower's exterior seemed to somehow complement it. The beautiful lights seemed to dance to the music that was coming from the top of the tower.

Both Marinette and Adrien couldn't help but smile as they silently watched the miraculous spectecal that was occurring right in front of them.

In the midst of everything, the female suddenly felt a wave of deep adoration crash upon her entire being. She couldn't explain it, but she had an unquenchable urge to reach over and lovingly embrace the handsome young man who stood in front of her.
