For once, Adrien woke up in a good mood. It had been a few days since they had arrived back in France, but he was glad to be back.

Despite all the drama, frustration and craziness, the trip was surprisingly good. It was good because of all the time he had spent with Marinette.

He got to discover a whole new side to her; which only made him fall deeper in love.

He took in a deep breath before jumping out of bed.

Today was the day that he was finally going to do it. He was finally going to confess to the love of his life. And despite the fact that he had been so anxious in the past, he was feeling rather confident.

The teen believed that nothing could bring him down, because he had mentally prepared himself for the day ahead. He hoped for the best, but prepared for the worst; just in case his plan somehow backfired.

His train of thought was suddenly interrupted by a compulsive knock on the door.

"Adrien! Are you ready yet!? Your bodyguard has been waiting for you for over twenty minutes!" Natalie shouted from the other side of the bedroom door.

He quickly glanced over at his alarm clock. When he realized what the time was, the blond's heart began to loudly pound in his chest.

He must have been so exhausted from all of yesterday's final preparations, that he somehow managed to sleep through all of his alarms.

"Ye... Yeah! I'm basically ready. I just need to brush my teeth!"

When the sound of footsteps faded away into the background, Adrien rushed to put on the first outfit he could find.

His eyes anxiously glanced around his bedroom before they fell on a pile of unused clothes. After his previous modeling shoot, he was given a whole bunch of free stuff that he hadn't yet looked at.

He raced against the clock to hopefully find something decent to wear. But to his disappointment, he couldn't find anything he really liked.

When he picked up a pair of black skinny jeans that had a few rips along the knees, and a denim jacket that had a huge green pawprint along the back, he looked at himself in the mirror with a very unsure expression. This wasn't a style he was particularly comfortable with, but he didn't care because he was running out of time!

He quickly undressed before throwing on a plain black t-shirt, the black jeans and the tattooed jacket.

His hair was a mess, but he didn't have time to brush it. He looked like a stereotypical bad boy, which felt weird, but he shrugged his shoulders before reaching for a pair of sneaks.

As he was making the final adjustments to his outfit, his assistant yelled out his name again. With not even a second left to spare, the model quickly tightened the laces on his ankle length sneakers.

When he was completely dressed, he grabbed his backpack and a pair of stylish sunglasses before heading out of his room.

'Hopefully I can do this...' He mumbled under his breath.

Adrien's morning was rather unproductive. He felt rather uncomfortable because he kept getting weird stares from basically everyone. He was used to getting attention, but this was a lot more than usual.

He hated every minute of it, and secretly wished for the day to just be over. At least that way, he would be able to see Marinette.

Lycée was closed for a week, due to all the intense research and investigations that were being done on the property.
