Summary: Reader (Claire) is in the air force, her and her crew visit a USWNT vs. Canada game where she meets her crush Alyssa.

Throwback Nobody's POV

On this day Claire and some of her friends from the army went to see a game of the USWNT. "Today you gonna meet Alyssa. How do you feel?", Jake (her oldest friend from a young age) "I am so excited to see them play, hopefully they'll win", she replied.

Clair's POV

This week we got our of time from the army and today me and my friends went to see my favorite soccer team the USWNT with my favorite player Alyssa Naeher. "Today you gonna meet Alyssa. How do you feel?", Jake asked. "I am so excited to see them play, hopefully they'll win", I replied. After ten minutes we got to the stadium, fortunatly we got front row seats right next to the tunnel. In a few moments the game starts. "We're so close to the girls it's unbelieveable, so cool", Sarah said. "I think it has it's perks to be in the army", we laughed. In the first fifteen minutes the defenders and Alyssa had a lot to do, because the canadians kept playing offensive and put pressure on the girls. Out of nowhere the US found their strengh and got the ball away from their goal and to the canadian one, they also managed to score.

The halftime quickly and we went to use the bathroom or buy something to eat and drink. Back at our seats we talked about the first half and how good the american played. In the second half of the game there were another two goals scored by Tobin and Pinoe, but there were also amazing saves by Alyssa. In the end of the match the US won with three goals. Soon the players started to give autographs and talkt with their fans. After like five minutes I noticed that THE Alyssa Naeher was walking our way. "Hi there I see you are a fan of me", she said smiling. "Yeah she is your number one fan. she always talks about how amazing you are", answered Jake laughing. "Shut up Jake. Hi Alyssa, but yes I'm a big fan", I replied. "Turn around so I can sign your jersey if you like", she sayed to me. "That would be really nice", I blushed, but turned around. "Guys look she is blushing", Trevor yelled quietly, but loud enogh to be heard by my friends and Alyssa, which made me blush even more on that point. After I felt her sign my jersey I turned bach towards her and thanked her. "Lyss, come here we need to get changed", Kelley screemed. "Ok, I have to go, but hopefully we see each other again", the goaly smiled.

At home when I canged into my pjs I noticed there is a phone number on the backof my jersey 'For a beautyful girl X-XXX-XXXXXXX Call me - Alyssa Naeher' I let out a happy scream. I immediately send the number a message

Clair: C

Alyssa: A

C: Hi this Is Clair from the USA vs. Canada game today, you left your number on the back of my jersey and I thought I'd say hi.

A: Hello Cutie, so the mysterious girl's name is Claire

C: Yeah it is, but why did you give me your number?

A: I thought you were cute and I didn't want to miss my chance to aske the cute girl on a date. So What do you think about going on a date with me?

-Oh my goodness my crush is asking me on a date. What a wonderful day-

C: I would love to go on a Date with you

A: Cool is friday afternoon good?

C: Yes You could pick me up after work

A: Where do you work?

C: In the Army Air Force

A: Now you got me speachless. Is 3pm ok?

C: Sounds amazing

After our texts I went to bed with a smile on my face.

In the morning after breakfast I walk to my friend and we drove to work. "Hey guys it is a wonderful day isn't it?", I greeted my team. "What got you in such a good mood Claire?", Taylor asked. With a smile I answered "Nothing, I just have a date today after work." "With who?" -Why are my friends so curious?- "That's a secret", was my reply. The whole day I was nervous for my date with the beautiful goalie.

Alyssa's POV

"I have to go now girls", I said to my teammates before standing up. "Wait where are you going?", Mal asked. "I have a date with an Air Force Pilot", I replied slowly. "So you're into guys in Uniform", Sonnett teased me. "Actually it is a woman I met her yesterday at the game, she was there with her team." "Stop asking questions, She's going to be late", Ali saved me. I mouthed her a thanks and went to my car to pick her up.

At the parking lot I parked and send Claire a text.

A: hey there I'm in the parking lot near the gate

C: Ok I am coming

Soon I see her walking towards me with a smile. "Hey there. How are you doing?", Claire said. "I'm doing good. How are you?" "I am feeling fine, What are we going to do?, she asked me. "That's a suprise", I smirked. After that I open the door for her and we drove to a wonderfull Flower meadow where I planned a picknick.

"Wow, this is amazing, I love it" she laughed and spinned around a few times. Her happines made me smile even wider. "So what do you like to do when you're not at the army headquarters?", I asked after we sat down. "I like to work out with friends, play soccer and drawing What about you?" "Reading, spending time with friends too and now I want to know more about the reason why you went to the Air Force", I reaplied.

After a long and fantastic evening we went to the car and I drove her hoome.

Throwback end Claire's POV

"Love, what are you thinking about?", my fiancé came throug the door into the living room. "I was thinking about the first time meeting and our first date five years ago", I smiled at her and opened my arms for her to cuddel with me, she then sat between my legs and leaned against my chest. "Did you like it?" "I loved it and it also was the start of our relationship." I smirked at Alyssa. "I can't wait for you to be my wife", the goalie wispered smiling. "I can't wait either Lys", I mumbled and kissed her.
