O.W.Ls had started with a buzz with what the Third Task closing in on them, the last and final Task of the Tournament. Kate was quite anxious for her exams but was thoroughly satisfied when she had given most of them. She was very relieved to have given her last exam, and headed to her dormitory with her friends who were all discussing the exam and some were even groaning about how difficult it was while Kate couldn't remember the last time she had been properly to the Great Hall for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
She showered, changed and scurried off to the Great Hall for lunch because she was way too hungry and to her utter delight; Mrs Weasley was there with Bill, so she went to sit down with her and the others. "Ah, Kate. I'm so happy to see you" Mrs Weasley greeted with her usual warm hug and kiss on the cheek. "I am too, Mrs Weasley" Kate said while hugging her back and then greeted Bill. "How did your exams go?" She asked. "Satisfying indeed... thank Merlin I'm done with them now." "Don't worry, mum, she'll get more O.W.Ls than us but that doesn't mean she's not like us" said Fred proudly when he had reached the table with George.
"Oh, dear" Mrs Weasley sighed.
Once again, Kate was preoccupied by her thoughts. She kept on thinking about George even though he was sitting right next to her, and it seemed like Ginny hadn't kept herself calm because Mrs Weasley would occasionally stare between Kate and George. But Kate thought she knew better, she still thought it was foolish of her to even think that he felt anything like that towards her. Mrs Weasley was there to support Harry for the Third Task, Kate accompanied them all towards the Quidditch pitch where it was being held.
