Y/n's POV
I never knew that I even had the Kensa Octobrush on my back till now. I was more of a f/w person, but I'm good with brushes too and Toni Kensa was my favorite brand. So there I was, gripping my Octobrush tightly. The inkling that had followed me was staring at me. I was harmless, but he didn't think so.I took a quick glance at my gear and then looked back at the inkling. The gear I was wearing was the same ones I had on me in the Splatoon 2 game: F/h, f/s, and f/s. I was just about to take a swing in my Octobrush when the inkling talked, "Hi". I eased my grip on the Octobrush and said "What do you want?".
"Nothing." he said. I was about to ask why he'd followed me in the first place then when I heard B/n.
"Y/N! ARE YOU ALIVE? ARE YOU BREATHING? HOW DID YOU GET ON THE GROUND?",she screamed. "Yes yes, I'm alive."I mumbled. The inkling was now more confused than ever, and his face showed it. I turned away from him. "Listen,I can't really talk right now.",I said. She replied, "Well, I can. It's lunch period now and I'm sneaking a call."I chuckled quietly to myself. Only B/n would sneak a call. "Ok fine.How are you doing?"I asked her. "How am I doing,how about you? Did you find a place to stay? Do you know how to get back? Who's that inkling behind you?"
I slapped my forehead.How could I forget a simple a thing? Where was I supposed to stay?
Then again,I was impressed that B/n could identify an inkling. She was a quick learner. "I don't know....." She could tell that I was upset, because she said, "Oh, well I'm sorry why don't you ask that inkling? He could help you find a place." That was a horrible idea,I thought. The inkling I was pointing my weapon at, finding me a home? No. No way. But B/n had different ideas. "Go on, ask him.",she said. I put the Kensa Octobrush on my back and turned back at him, sighing.
"Sooooo what's your name? Mine's Emperor," he said. "My name? It's uh well it's-" I stuttered. I don't know why I was stuttering.Maybe because all my life I was told not to tell my name to strangers. Then again, Emperor wasn't really a stranger since he told me his name. "Go on, tell him your name!" B/n urged. I tried again. "My names is uh-um-uh." Emperor eyebrows raised. "It's um...you see,I uh forgot my name."is all I could come up with.I heard shrieks of laughter.They were both coming from B/n and Emperor. I glared at Emperor and took my weapon out and pointed it at him. "I'm sorry but, you forgot?" he laughed.
B/n then said, "Sorry, but I gotta go. Bye!". I didn't take much notice because now I was ready to take a swing at Emperor.
Emperor's POV
The inkling looked like she was ready to kill me, so I stopped laughing and asked her where she was staying for the night. I mean, with an inkling falling out of the sky, the possibilities could be endless! "Umm... I don't know." She said. I offered her to stay the night at my apartment. Suddenly, she brightend. "Really?" "Yeah." I said. Just then, Prince and Squidkid Jr. had found us and ran up to meet us. "Prince? Eging?This inkling is going to spend the night with us until she finds a home." I said. "Cool," said Eging. "So,what's your name?" asked Prince. I looked at her. "Um... it's Y/n"she said. I looked at her and smiled.
