54 Days Until The Wedding

"Hey, do you mind coming to the bottle room on break?" Alex asked since it was the only place without cameras in this store.

I rushed to the bottle room and made sure nobody saw me. Alex was standing next to the bottle machine waiting for me. I walked over, smiling as he grabbed my waist and pushed his lips onto mine.

I pulled away quickly and wiped my lips. I can't believe he just did that. I stepped back and looked at him.

"What was that?" I snapped.

"I've been thinking ever since that party that you don't need Nicky." He said.

"So that means I need you?" I snapped.

"No but I can treat you better than Nicky." He explained.

"I doubt that." I winked.

"Don't you ever wonder what it would be like to be in a real relationship?" He asked as I leaned against the bottle machine.

"I guess but it doesn't fit me, Alex." I explained, "No real relationship works with me. I'm a ticking time bomb."

"You're my best friend, Brogan." He explained, "And I think we'd be great together If you gave us a chance."

"I don't know, Alex." I sighed.

"Look, come over. We will plan a day and you can come over. We can hang out and see how it goes." He explained.

"Okay." I laughed and punched him in the arm, "Let's get back to work. No more lovey dovey crap."

-

"Nickyyy!" I yelled as I walked inside and saw him asleep on the couch.

I crawled up and sat on top of him as I drank a little more of my vitamin water. He groaned before looking at me and trying to get comfortable again.

"Nicky, we're like bffs right?" I laughed at my text talk.

"Yeah." He waved me away.

"So tell me the reason." I smiled.

"The reason?" He asked.

"The reason you never have sex." I poked.

"No." He snapped.

"Nicky please." I pouted, "You never tell me anything about you and you've met my sister."

"I have a daughter." He explained.

"You do?" I asked.

"I do." He confirmed, "She's almost a year old."

"What's her name?" I asked.

"Brea." He replied.

"And where is she?" I asked.

"With her mom. They moved a while ago and I get visitation right now." He answered.

"Do you want custody?" I asked.

" of course I do. That's my daughter." He replied.

"So Brea is the reason you don't have sex?" I asked.

"The addiction first. And then I didn't want another Brea any time soon so I just stopped having sex." He shrugged, "Not that you've helped my addiction at all."

"Okay, act like it was all my fault." I laughed as he smiled up at me.

"While we're in this position." He mentioned.

"No, we have group soon. We can't be late anymore." I laughed.

"Let's skip." He winked, "Come on rebel girl. Skip with me."

He grabbed me the hair and groaned, "Kiss me."
