The only thing that could be heard around the Hogwarts library was the ruffling of pages as the students turned to the next page. Jade had met them at the library a few minutes after Lucia and Rizzo had arrived due to their last classes being different . To Rizzo's own knowledge both of her friends had gotten a long since the first day they were introduced which was very unlikely of Jade since she was not very fond of making new friends. Jade had put a book down and groaned in agony as Lucia picked up a couple more books on Transfiguration, they had been at it for two days in a row and had found no information on how to turn into a Red Tailed Python. McConogall had thought them their second year about Transfiguration but never specified on the certain animagus that Rizzo had taken a liking to out side of her own sorted house, of course.

Her lips were pressed against each other as they were focused reading the scribbled notes that were annotated around the page and read out loud;

"If done wrong, you can stay stuck as the animagus for more than wanted."

"Or transfigure into the wrong animagus and having no way to turn back  until a few days."

She let out a small sigh, writing down on her journal with her quill, as Lucia sat next her annoyed and Jade just ran her hands through her blondish pink hair before laying down next to the Gryffindor. "Rizzo, how long are we going to keep doing this? I have found no way to turn you into a python. What have you found in your books?", Lucia questioned as she leaned her head on the table. Rizzo looked at her with tired eyes, the dark circles under her eyes were just getting worst by the minute and herself as well, laid her head on the table looking at her. "Lu, I have an idea but I do not know if it is going to work or not. . Plus I do not3 know if it has been used yet or not. Or could possibly be super dangerous, I'm down for the thrill but I know you guys would be sad if I left y'all alone here."

Lucia gave Rizzo and Jade a push on both shoulders teasingly as they  joined together into a small giggle

Lucia gave Rizzo and Jade a push on both shoulders teasingly as they  joined together into a small giggle. "I just do not understand why you want to put your name in the Goblet. You really are exposing yourself to dangerous side effects" Jade huffed as she leaned back on the table kicking her legs slowly as thoughts were running through her mind.

Rolling her eyes as a habit every time Jade scolded her about one of her many questionable choices, she responded. " Because I want to prove that anyone at any age can do anything that they put their mind too and that they are confident in. Anyone can compete in the Triwizard Tournament, the rules a stupid. Fighting against what you fear is what makes you a great wizard. Do you not understand? I have to do this." Their conversation was cut short as she heard some footsteps getting closer to them; they were very faint but could still be heard . A tall slightly built figure popped out of  behind the bookshelf that was in front of the girls. The boy stopped and since it was to his left he leaned on it for comfort. His dark hair was parted in the right middle side and his grey eyes were looking down at Rizzo's which they eyed her well before following over to meet Jade's who gave him a glare rising up an eyebrow out of curiosity to see what guy wanted. The action caused him to let out a small laugh, before his eyes locked with Lucia's.

The confident posture and the smile was everything Rizzo needed to know before looking down at the yellow tie that stood out faintly from his uniform.

Hufflepuff.

"Sorry, I did not mean to interrupt your conversation", the boy said with a playful smile over his lips. "But I just could not help myself from hearing you and having such an admiration for your determination to get into the tournament." Taken back, Rizzo closed her books and got up before placing a hand over them. "And you are?', the sass on her tone was inevitable due to aura that was caused by the male. The smile over his lips grew bigger before getting closer and placing his books next to Lucia's copying the action the curly haired girl did; he placed his hands over his books."Diggory , Cedric Diggory is my name. I'm a Hufflepuff as you can see, and Quidditch Team Captain. Nice to officially meet you Lucia, Jade and Rizzo too of course, I have been watching you three from the side lines for a bit."

"Sure as hell you do not know to mind your own business now do you?", Jade hissed at him before rolling her eyes and sat up from her laying down position. Rizzo laughed at her comment; seconds after having it back into a serious face.

The three girls looked at each other in shock and in utter confusion as he knew their names. Of course not to toot her own horn but Rizzo's family was very much well known, as pure blood born Death Eaters  nonetheless. Jade's family were half blood's with her father working in the ministry a long Draco's and her own. In the other hand, Lucia's family was not, not to mention her parents were muggles. Her mom was a nurse and her dad was a college professor.

" Don't you think it is kind of weird, even a little creepy to be watching from the side lines?", Lucia questioned at Cedric as she crossed her arms in a serious manner. " Now that is very true but have you heard of the term 'Curiosity killed the cat?'. Cedric as well crossed is arms as he kept his eyes locked with Lucia's. The action made the taller girls cheeks turn a light shade of pink which was also followed by a small giggle. "Is that so? That is actually a muggle saying", Lucia said in a flirty tone, tucking  in a strand of her wavy hair behind her ear.

Rizzo raised her eyebrows and her lips turned into a straight line as she cringed at the words that were being said in front of her, turning her head to unexpectedly meet Jade's traumatised gaze as well. She loved her best friend but that flirting was just not it for her. It was too much for her to watch a small amount of torture, she grabbed her books heading out of the small corner, Jade following of course, as fast as they could. " Bloody hell, that was fucking awful to experience", Rizzo whispered to her Slytherin friend as she walked down the aisle from the library and out the double doors. " You tell me, I have never wanted to rip my eyes and ears all at the same time", Jade gagged before letting out a small laugh.

But that disgusted look on her face quickly disappeared, her lips turning into a small smile. Rizzo was confused for a second before turning to face what was in front and there he was. The man of the hour, Mr. Neville Longbottom. And as much as she tried denying it, the curly haired girl knee her Slytherin best friend had some little feelings growing for the dorky Gryffindor boy. Neville's face turned into a deep shade of red before speaking, well, stuttering in nervousness to both girls. "H-hey Jade.. and Rizzo!"

Rizzo waved to the tall dark haired boy," Hi Neville.  Nice to see you here, I see you have come to take my twin away." She joked with the boy and caused him to laugh, and her as well. "Oh c'mon. We are just friends, and I'm having trouble with Herbology so he is teaching me... Anyways before you keep nagging, I'm heading out." Jade grabbed Neville's hand and pulled him as she guided her way to Sprout's classroom. Neville let out a small yelp, waving goodbye to Rizzo before turning completely around to follow the shorter girl.

                                                                                         ✉

The cold wind hit her face, causing her too slightly close her eyes and hugged her books closer to her chest. Focusing on her path, she bumped into a bigger much thicker figure, which she quickly apologized and realised it was Alastor Moody. She felt frozen in the spot as a dark shadow was formed around him, it seemed like a face but she could not move, everyone around her was still on the spot including herself but expect Moody. "Excuse me, Ms.King. I did not mean to run into you or your path. Please follow as you were doing..", Moody said in a serious tone but a much quieter and groggy voice  followed, taking a hint it was the shadow behind the bigger man."But do not forget that the dark path is the right one."

Everything around her started to become blurry , and began to move once again when Moody walked away. The echoing of the voices around her started to sound farther and farther away. The last thing she saw before completely was a tall figure reaching out to her.
