Chapter 5 - In your arms

Rizzo's lips turned into a small smile as the Sorting hat yelled, 'You will be sorted into Slytherin, were you dreams become your ambition. Where come what may, nothing can defeat you.' She heard Jade's and Draco cheering from the table she would now be sitting at for her next seven years at Hogwarts. Stepping down down carefully not to trip on her robes, Rizzo looked down shyly until she made it to where her two friends were sitting. Sitting between them, she gave Jade a little push as they both giggled in excitement of being sorted into their Dream houses since they were little. And she turned to Draco to give him small smile as he returned before mouthing to her, ' We did it.' Rizzo nodded, placing her hand over his to give her a small squeeze of confirmation.

As everyone else cheered on the other students that kept going to the sorting hat, finishing up with the last first year that sorted into Gryffindor; Dumbledore came up to the podium and greeted us as official Hogwarts students as we were finally sorted. Rizzo felt something that made her uneasy and it was near her. The feeling of being watched secretly by someone of not so good intentions. Rizzo looked behind the other students, facing the professors one by one. Hagrid gave her a small smile which she returned without hesitation before noticing a Professor with a cloth wrapped around his head. There Dumbledore gave a speech and introduced him as Professor Quirrell. She looked closer, noticing how a dark shadow had began to appear around him, noticing how his focus turned to her and gave a slight nod as if someone had spoken to him. Her hands began to feel cold, Rizzo's lips going completely pale and numb. It had become harder for her to breathe. Jade placed her hand on her shoulder, she was speaking to her but she could not hear her. The expression that was reflected on her friend face had scared her enough. Frozen in time was the only way to describe, she tried speaking but it was impossible for her to move her lips. Looking back at where Professor Snape was sitting, he was standing up on pointing his wand at Quirrell; not directly at him but the black shadow behind him and yelled, 'EVANESCO!'.

She opened her eyes, gasping for air as she looked around. All white curtains, twin size mattresses on both sides of the large room realising she was in the hospital wing. All she remembered was walking out of the library and then completely blacking out. Rizzo's eyes felt heavy, groaning as she felt a sharp pain in the back of her head. Madam Pomfrey smiled at her as she walked towards her, " Good evening dear. How are you feeling?". The older woman asked as she placed her hand over Rizzo's forehead and cheek to check her temperature.

Rizzo gave her a small reassuring smile before speaking; she sat up on the bed. "I am feeling alright, Madam Pomfrey, thank you. Uh. . excuse me but all I remember is walking out of the library, and after that I do not recall anything else."

"You were staring deeply into my soul. I would say it was love at first sight, darling. Now to break my own wand of course but I saved you from falling past the floor though you did hit your head pretty hard before I could fully get ahold of you", A tall red headed boy said as he posed with his arms across his chest. " It was a pretty long walk to the hospital wing, of course I held you in my arms and made sure everyone was out of the way", he spoke as he posed like a proclaimed hero which honestly made Rizzo let out a small chuckle.

" As entertaining as you are being, I'm sorry to laugh but also thank you for that Mr.?", she spoke tilting her head to the side in addition to her compliment that was followed by a question. The boy quickly changed his posture, putting his his hand over his chest as if someone had offended him greatly. " Are you really asking that question? There is literally no other gingers in this school besides us, The Weasley's. By the way, my name is George, George Weasley", he hummed happily at his response, amused as he waited for hers. George ran a hand through his long red hair in an attempt to appear more interesting but that failed as soon as Madame Pomfrey came back with a small cup of tea in her hands.

"Weasley! Hey I am the same year as your brother Ron. He is quite the comedian really and well. . also very how do you say. . clumsy? It is entertaining to watch on a daily", She laughed before taking a small sip of her tea, which tasted bitter and not good at all. George joined in laughter and before he spoke, Madame Pomfrey had cut him off.

"Not to seem nosy or anything but I feel like you are doing a little too much.. Mr. Weasley. Surely, it is a good first impression you are trying to make is it not?", She spoke in a teasing tone, handing Rizzo the cup of tea gently making sure it did not spill. George cleared his throat before pushing himself from the wall he was leaning at, clapping his hands together, "You are right, Madame Pomfrey. A saviour should not brag about his ways, and should always remain a mystery."

With those last words the ginger gave both ladies a wave as he made his way to double doors of the hospital. Heading out, at the same time came in Draco with a worried expression on his face which changed completely as he looked up at the other male and mumbling.

" Wealsey. "

" Malfoy. "

He entered, and followed by him were his best friends Lucia and Jade. They ran past Draco and reached the bed first, being careful to hug Rizzo since she had her cup of tea in her hands. Rizzo smiled widely at all three before putting her tea on the night stand next to her. " I came as quickly as I heard what had happened", Jade breathed out as Lucia followed, " I ran into Jade and she told me what happened." Both girls nodded in sync which her heart warm, feeling the luckiest in the world as she had to amazing friends who cared for her well being.

"If I was there with you, I would have catched you. Never let a Weasley touch you again, those are just filthy hand-me-downs", Draco spoke in spite of what had happened a few hours prior. He was standing on the left side of the bed, placing his hand on the end railing before slowly making his way up to Rizzo's hand. Lucia and Jade looked at each other, rolling their eyes.

"Like you are any better", Lucia hissed as she glared at him which made Jade giggle.

"I think he was very nice, and since you were not there, he brought me here and thanks to him and Madame Pomfrey I am doing just fine", Rizzo smiled as she felt his hand land on top of hers. Draco ignored what she said and sat at the edge of the bed, playing with her. " Do you need anything?", he asked before taking his hand to move a strand of her curly hair behind her ear and placing a small kiss on her left cheek.

Rizzo looked up as Lucia made a face in completely shock, she did not really know that Draco and her were maybe perhaps something, even she questioned that sometimes since it was mostly for his benefit more than anything else. Jade on the other hand really had enough of all the years she had with dealing with both of Rizzo's ad Draco's strange relationship which she moved closer and pushed him out of the bed which made him fall on the ground. The blonde haired boy glared at the before getting up and fixing his robe, "Think you are funny do you?".

"It comes naturally really, do you think I can make a business off of it?", she said in a comedic tone. The boy gave her a sarcastic smile before turning to Rizzo; leaning in to give her a kiss on her cheek. " I will be off then, I do think I'm being quite of an extra here. I will reach out to you when I can." Rizzo nodded and gave him as well kiss on the cheek,"That's fine, I will owl you if I need anything." And with that he turned on his heel and made his way down the aisle and out.

" And he said my eyes were the most beautiful brown eyes. Honestly it all feels a little too good, let me tell you. Girls! His smile is literally a thousand stars and galaxies combined, oh so very dreamy", Lucia sighed as she placed both of her hands on both sides of her face cupping her cheeks. Both Jade and Rizzo were fan girling, giggling as they cheered for her. " That is amazing! Have you guys set up another meeting or perhaps a date? ", the curly haired Slytherin questioned as she wiggled her eyebrows together in a goofy way which caused Jade to burst out laughing and Lucia as well. "Not yet but we will see what time brings."
