*~*My POV*~*

" You really wang to come with me into a dark cave? When your scared of the dark? " He asked. " Y-yeah... and besides you'll be there, so I won't be scared anyways... I just want to hang out with you... kinda " She blushed darkly. " Alright then... " He holds his hand out. " Uh...? " She blushed. " So? Are you coming or not? " He asked. " Y-yeah! I am! " She grabs his hand, they clasped together and walked inside. " So what are you supposed to be finding? " She asked. " I'm not sure actually. Lady Tsunade said that there was a hidden scroll or whatever but we don't know what's on it " He shrugged " Oh, alright " She shrugged.

~A few minutes later~

It's pretty dark in the cave. The more they walked the more scared Temari got. Suddenly there was a loud rumble. " What was that?! " She asked. " Calm down. It was probably some animals running over the mountain. " He said. She nodded, trying listen to him but it was really hard. Suddenly, a bat flew past the two, Temari screamed and backed away from Shikamaru and ended up bumping into a wall. This sparked the mini avalanche. " Temari! " Shikamaru said, trying to reach her but it didn't work.

" Dammit!! " He said. He kept going, trying to find a way to get around to her. Temari also started running away. She wanted to run away from the dark but everywhere she went there was just more dark. It was no use trying to get out. They were completely caved in. The worst part was that she couldn't see anything. It was pitch black. She couldn't locate anyone at all. " Hello!! " She yelled, making the bats squeak. She screamed, as they flew down. She fell to the floor, clutching her kimono. It wasn't supposed to happen like this. She just wanted to go with him so she wasn't alone.

His parents went on date night and he went to this cave to find something that supposedly an enemy left something behind. Shikamaru was running through the cave looking around for her. He'd heard her scream, he knows she's afraid of the dark and he had the lamp. " Temari!! Temari!! Are you okay?! " He asked. She heard him yelling, but she couldn't answer back. She was too afraid. She couldn't barely move.

~Flashback~

" Hey! Look it's a pretty girl! " A boy said to his group of friends. " Leave me alone you idiots! " She said. " Your supposed to be leaving to the leaf village right? You must be pretty bummed. Then again, no one here likes you. Or your freak brother! " He said. She punched him in the face. " I hate you! How dare you talk about Gaara like that?! " She yelled. " You did it now girl! Your gonna pay! " The others said. They dragged her to a cave, locking her in with rocks. She was in there for a few days, before someone finally heard her screaming and reported to the Kazekage.

" Hey! Is anyone in there?! " He yelled after finally getting the rocks to move. She crawled out, shaking and crying. " I-I... Gaara... Kankuro... " She said. She couldn't think of anything else but her brothers.

~End~

" Temari! " Shikamaru yelled. " O-over here... " She finally mustered. He followed her voice. He lights a lamp. She was crying, she looked up at him like she'd finally been saved from a nightmare. He placed the lamp down, walking over to her. " Are you okay? I'm sorry for letting you get away from me " He said. She jumps to hug him. " I... I... I was so scared. Th-then bats and screaming. And I missed you so much. Thank you " She cries into his vest. " Shhh, it's okay now. It's okay " He caressed her back, planting a kiss on the top of her head.

He decided to rest there for a little, to let her calm down.

~A little bit later~

They'd found the scroll and brought it back to Tsunade and then went home, Temari slightly limping from when she fell. " Are you sure your alright? " He asked. " I'm fine. I mean, it's not like I'm still in that dark cave anyways. I'm outside of it, plus I'm with you now so it's okay Y'know " She smiled. He sighed. " Your quite troublesome " He said, picking her up bridal style. " If you hurt yourself you should tell me instead of trying to tough it out. What a drag " He groaned. " Whatever idiot " She rolled her eyes, slightly blushing.
