Senior year, Present day...

I got up and went to the bathroom to get dress for school today.

"hurry up shithead I gotta get ready for my appointment!" Stokely says while knocking on the bathroom door. Stokely is my twin brother he is older than me by 7 mins and some change. We're like besties although we are polar opposites.

"i can take you to school this morning but I cant promise I can pick you up after school." He says, I open the bathroom door. Stokes doesn't go to school anymore dropped out of school sophomore year. He says he don't know why he gotta learn useless shit.

"okay ugly , I'll see if Niah can take me home if not I'll walk." I say slanging my book bag over my shoulders.

~ school ~

"Daeee, Hey bitch!" Niah says to me as she put her code for the locker. I am well known but I stay to myself, I only consider Niah as a friend because I knew her my whole life.

"Hey bitchhh. Sorry I didn't call you back last night my ass was knocked the fuck out. " we both laugh. She shrugs and grabs her books.

"Girl it's okay I don't care .. but look at Jahseh & his girlfriend." She laughs because his girlfriend is making a small scene. I haven't paid much attention to Jahseh since him and my brother had that falling out. Stokes told me to stay away from him which is hard since he's in all my classes. Usually Jahseh doesn't do anything but stare at me or rolls his eyes.

"Jah give me a good reason why we can't hang out together tonight." Jahsehs girlfriend asks while crossing her arms.

"bae i got something to do after school." Jah said hugging her. " I promise to make it up to you soon so stop being a big baby." He says planting a kiss on his girlfriends lips. I rolled my eyes and turned around in disgust.

Niah and I began to walk to class.

~ school letting out ~

"Sorry Dae, my dad wants me home ASAP so I can't take you home." Niah said checking her phone as we walked out the school building.

"Don't worry about it I'll be just fine walking home." I say to her as I give her a hug as she gets in the car.

"Okay be safe and tell Stokely fine ass to text me." She laughed as she pulled off. Stokes is a big ass player and every friend I bring around he ends up smashing. This is my best friend I don't want him hurting her.

I began walking away from my high school on the same route I always take when I don't have a ride. It's about 15 minute walk. I stuck my head phones in and started blasting my music bobbing my head to the beat.

I have a urging feeling I am being  followed ,  i turn around and no ones there I'm starting to get scared so I began walking faster.

Then boom everything went black.
