"Hey babe." my girlfriend, Cinthia said. "I am so ready for this picnic today!" Cin hugged me.

"Hey baby." I wrapped my arms around her & kiss her lips. "I have to tell you something.."

"I'm listening babe." She said looking me dead in the eyes.

I'm really nervous to tell my girlfriend that we can't hang out this afternoon , especially to do a project with someone we don't particularly fuck with.

"we can't hang out tonight, I have a project to do .. like it's so important especially if i want to graduate." I started. "I'm sorry babe."

"okay that's fine we can hang out this weekend..." she said before getting cut off by Day'Lynn.

This ain't finna end well.

"hey... umm jahseh right?" She said, walking up towards us. "do you mind taking me over to your house today?" Cin looks over at me confused.

"what is she talking about Jah?" Cin crossed her arms.

"I was gonna tell you she was my partner for my project..." I said, Day'Lynn looked at both of us.

"It's cool. Y'all have fun today." Cin said, walking away. 

Fuck .....

I rubbed my temples on both sides of my head.

"I'm sorry , I didn't know you had a girlfriend... nor did I want this to happen just needed a ride for the project ." Day'Lynn said sounding guilty. 

I forgot she doesn't have good memory.

"It's fine Day'Lynn. Come on let's go." I said grabbing my car keys.

*Later On*

Jah took us to his home which was fucking huge.

"so what do you think we should work on?" I asked, plopping down on his bed. His room is really big and cozy looking.

"I mean it doesn't matter to me." He said irritated , typing on his phone .

I think I made his girlfriend really mad at me.

"hey , im sorry jah I didn't mean for her to be mad at you ..." I said. Getting kinda close to jah.

"it's not your fault Day... but um do you think we should make a volcano outta mentos & soda ?" He said. Looking up at me.

I looked back. damn. mmm he looks so good to me. He has a girlfriend I can't do that to her.

I ended up getting lost in his eyes.

"You okay Day?" He said snapping me out of my day dream.

"yea ... um I think that's a good idea..." I said. He looks so damn good. I need to go home before I end up doing some dumb shit.

His room door opened.

"Hey sweetie, are you hungry?" a pretty lady said to me.

"I'm good thank you, I should be heading home." I said, grabbing my stuff.

Jah looked at me weird.

"you just got here ? you want me to take you home? it's getting dark out..." jahseh asked me.

"yes thank you." I said getting up.

"wait you don't want to see Jahs baby pics ?they're so funny." She chuckled holding a photo book in her hands.

"no she doesn't ma." He laughed & walked me to his car.

"Why'd you wanna leave so early for?" Jah asked , driving me home.

"my mom told me she wanted me to come home..." I lied. I don't want to do anything to ruin his relationship.

"oh.. okay. Well I'll see you tomorrow okay?" Jah said parking.

"y..yeah.." I stuttered. "Thank you for the ride." I got out and shut the door.

Stokely was waiting for me at the door.

"you were with jahseh?" he asked, crossing his arms at me.

"yea he's my partner for science.." I said. Walking to the kitchen. Stokely followed behind me.

"you know that we don't fuck with him no more right?" stokely asked.

"yea, i don't fuck with him he's just a science partner." I said, opening the fridge looking for something to eat.

"mmm okay... we'll you know I just want you to be safe sis, love you." He said giving me a fake punch to the shoulder.

Stokes ran up the stairs.
