I open my eyes up, I notice I'm attached to hella cords and shit. My head has an aching pain .. what the hell even happened.
"oh, she's up." i hear a voice say from beside me. I turn and see a woman im guessing is my nurse with other people surrounding me they all look familiar but I don't remember where from.
"oh my gosh Day'Lynn Im so sorry i didn't take you home .. I really I thought I lost you." A boy says while hugging me.
"who are you? and what the hell happened to me." I ask looking around confused. I have no clue who he or anyone else is.
"sweetie these are your family and friends." She starts, "you have Anterograde Amnesia caused by blunt forced trauma to your head, damaging your hippocampus.. which is a big part of your memories." damn that's a big word.
"will she be okay?" a woman asks while rubbing my face eyes red and puffy from crying. I'm guessing she's my mom.
"yes ma'am. Day'Lynn knows who she is.. The Amnesia is only temporary which means she will gain some of her memories back in a few hours." The nurse said.
"No one answered me, what happened to me?" I ask getting impatient.
"we don't know sweetheart, someone found you unconscious laying face down on the side walk. We also don't know who did it and why." she goes on. "You've been in a coma since."
I don't understand who would wanna hurt me anyways I don't be bothering anyone.
"alright you guys, she will be allowed to go home tomorrow. We've prescribed her medicine it should be done and ready to get picked up later. Hope you feel better Day'Lynn. Have a good afternoon." the nurse left out.

"Hey babe did you hear about this?" my girlfriend Cinthia, ask showing me a picture of Stokelys sister Day'Lynn.
"nah I didn't." I say, brushing what I seen off as we both continue to walk down the hallway to our first period.
I have not spoke to Stokely nor his twin sister since 8th grade and were seniors now. I took a seat trying to pay attention and forget about what happened.
"Good morning class, we will be having a project so I'll be assigning partners for that today." My Science teacher Mrs Gibson says, I hate partners I really don't speak to anybody which makes it fuckin worse.
Day'Lynn enters the classroom and sits right next to me. I sigh heavily.
"Okay Jahseh & Day'Lynn you guys are partners." Mrs Gibson says smiling. Outta all the mother fuckers in here she choose her. "You guys get to know your partner. You all got a 3Weeks until this is due."
"Hey so I'm guessing you're jahseh?" Day'Lynn asks facing me. "My memory is not so good so sorry if you think I'm trying to be funny."
"no, you're fine. I am jahseh." I can't believe I'm really talking to her again. "What should our project be on ?"
"I'm not sure jahseh." She say, "maybe we should work on this after school?"
I definitely don't feel like seeing Stokely nor do I wanna be a asshole.
"you can come over my house after school." I sigh knowing ima regret this shit later.
