KxH Chapter 3

-the next morning, narrator's perspective-
H woke up early in the morning with a start. She went through her daily morning routine. She then carefully placed a special handwritten note inside her bag and left her house. Today was the annual summer soccer event! They had been practicing for a long time for this.. There was another reason it was a big day, but maybe she'd do that after the event.
H jogged to the stadium made specifically for today and arrived much earlier than expected. S, T, A, D, I, U and M were still making the word to create the stadium.
S-T-A-D-I-U-M, stadium!
A big stadium rose from the ground out of nowhere. Some more Alphablocks arrived and sat down on it's seats.
P-O-P, pop! Many boxes of popcorn appeared as the Alphablocks found their seats.

-K's perspective-
C and and I headed out of the house on the way to the stadium..
I kneel down in front of H with a diamond ring in my hands. H was brimming with joy and so am I. I haven't even said a word yet and she shouted out 'yes'!
* * *
H was walking down the aisle in her beautiful white gown—
"Stairs!" Shouted C.
In that split second, I realized I was just daydreaming while walking. I stumbled down a set of stairs, hit my head but tried to stand up on the last step—
I didn't know what was happening but it really hurts..
"K! Are you okay? Can you hear me?" Said C distantly..

-10 minutes later, narrator's perspective-
The stadium was nearly full and everyone was excited for the game. H was a little worried; K and C should be here by now..
H looked around outside the stadium looking for them. K and C aren't usually late to any soccer match, so it's odd how they were late on such an important day. H reached for her phone on one of the seats and tried calling K. No response. H was panicking now; what happened to K, why is he so late—
"Can I tell you some bad news..?" C appeared behind her.
"Ohhh, it's you! You scared me, I thought we'd be late— Huh.. Where's K?"
"K fell down some stairs while he was on his way here. Could've been earlier but I had to drive him to the hospital. He can't come."
"Huh?! But there has to be some way he can—"
"He can't walk. He can't kick. He can't be here."
"Huh.. we could.. ask for volunteers?"
"K is the best at soccer (H internally agreed). We can't replace him (H agreed to that too) after all the practice we did. We'll be playing against top players. Is there anyone here that can do that except for us?"
"What do we do then?"
"Well.. the rules never said that two people aren't enough.."
