SALLY-ANNE PERKS
PANSY had looked around the Slytherin common room. It was rich with emerald colour, the interior design of the whole room befits someone of royalty, the whole room was dimly lit and how the bottom of the botton lake was giving the whole room a deep green hue.
Pansy had loved the looks of the room-it looks cozy enough to sleep in 24/7.
"Gather around firsties" a blonde woman had called them near the fireplace, the first year Slytherins had went near the blonde and as they sit at the couches, the blonde had gave them a very sharp smile
"Welcome to the most noble house of Slytherin, you must be all so cunning and ambitious to be sorted here. Though I'm quite afraid that alone wont be enough. Anyways, I'll say more after our head house, the potions master himself had say his welcoming speech" the blonde said without introducing herself and on-cue, their stern looking potions master had came strolling in his dark robes billowing as he goes
Pansy had stared dumbfoundly at the man- she had never seen Severus Snape upclose in person. Though her parents had tried to set up a study session with him to improve her potion skills but the man had continously refused saying he was busy with Hogwarts.
"Settle down." His velvet voice had rang through her ears, it was soothing and its like she's listening to ASMR
Snape had eyed the first years, his hard gaze landing on Draco's part of the group-where Pansy was. Snape had seen how Pansy had immediately looked away when he tried to meet her eyes.
Pansy needed to be careful, the man knew legilimency and even though she knew he was a friend...she just couldnt risk messing up the whole timeline
"Slytherins are known to be cunning and values self-preservation the most. As we all know the house of Slytherin had a very charming reputation as a dark house. Now, whatever happens in this room stays in this room." His eyes had once more scanned the room, telling not only the first years but also those older student staying there
"We must show a united form infront of others. If you feel that its necessary to cause trouble....Dont...get...caught" he drawled and sneered
"Remember, if you want to survive the whole year as a Slytherin, one must know the ways of a true Slytherin." He added carefully and made his exit, his robes ever billowing behind him
The blonde girl had clapped her hands together gathering their attention and the older students had visibly went near them, Pansy had heard Draco whisphered next to her
"Heres the part where my father had told me to look forward to" Draco said, Pansy had rose an eyebrow
It was odd that her parents told her the same but hadnt elaborate further
"As you all can tell by now Slytherin is very different from the other houses" the blonde started
"Unlike the other houses, we still follow the old tradition. From celebrating the witch's Sabbat, Samhain, Yuletide, Beltane and etc. And most importantly Slytherin is still ruled via monarchy" She gave a very dangerous smirk
Pansy had rose an eyebrow, Slytherin Monarchy? This was never mentioned in the books...or had I just forgot about it? She thought but then again, she remembers the whole book was in Harry Potter's perspective, which can leave out a thing or two about the Slytherins.
