Date Gone Wrong

The rest of the week went along just like any other week.

I visited Jake in the hospital until he could come home and that was the only difference of my usual weeks.

Once Friday came along I was excited for what Derek had planned for our date. As I was riding back home from school I got a text.

Hey do you want to meet up at a restaurant instead of me picking you up?
-Derek

I frowned at his text. Why would he not just pick me up? As I texted him I started to question why he would do that.

Yea sure that's fine see you tonight

When I got home I took a shower and got dressed into my bad ass gear which was a white short sleeved shirt with my black leather jacket and my vans plus a pair of dark jeans and my beanie. I left around 6:30 but not before asking him for directions to the restaurant that he chose for our date.

When I got there I noticed it was my uncle's restaurant called Carminas. He named it after his wife Carmina but sadly he passed away a couple of years ago so he left it for his two eldest sons Carlos and Kevin to own it together. I loved coming here because a lot of my family member work here and I am friends with a lot of the staff that aren't family. When I walked in I was greeted by my cousin Jessica.

" Hey little cuz what are you doing here this fine evening?"'She asked me. I smiled at her.

" I'm actually on a date well will be once he gets here." I shrugged at her while she gave me a huge smile.

" Very well then I will give you guys the best seat in the house." I nodded and walked with her as she lead me to my table in the back near the windows.

" So to start you off do you want me to get you your usual drink?" I nodded at her and smiled knowing that every one here knew what my usual drink was: A Kitty Cocktail.

" Ok I will be right back with that and I will wait until your date comes to get you meal order okay?" I nodded my head and watched her walk away.

A couple of minutes passed and I looked at the time and saw it was 7:15. I decided to call Derek to see where he was.

Hey..You have reached the most sexiest guy in the world sorry I couldn't take your call please leave a message after the beep and I will call you later. Bye.

"Hey Derek. It's me Courtney. I just called to see where you were because I'm here at the restaurant you told me to come to but you aren't here yet. Um so just call me and by the time you listen to this I will probably be gone so bye."

I decided to wait a couple more minutes to see if he would show up but he never did. At 7:30 I started getting ready and paid my bill because I started to eat without him. I said goodbye to my family and headed home. I got home and headed upstairs. I took a shower got dressed and went to bed feeling very disappointed.

I woke up a few minutes later and looked at my window to see Derek there. I decided to let my silence be my response to him and fell back to sleep.

Derek'sPOV

I walked out of school excited for my date with Courtney. I can't believe she gave me a chance after all that girl did kind of just took her spot and kissed me even though I didn't know her.

As I was walking to my car in the parking lot Raina came up to me and started to kiss me. I pushed her away almost immediately.

" What the hell Raina. What do you think your doing?" She smiled seductively at me.
