I text Julian at a reasonable hour on Monday morning. 'How are you feeling this morning? xo'

'Still feel a bit sick, but it's not in my throat so I'm ok to sing. I think the soup made me better :) x'

'It's magical soup, that's why. When I cook it, it turns to magical soup. Because I'm awesome. What time are rehearsals today?' I sniff, wiping my nose for the millionth time since waking up an hour ago. I'm not going to tell Julian I'm sick, he'll probably cry from guilt or something.

'You are awesome. Gotta be at the studio in an hour. Mum's gonna swing by at 6.30 for you. Is that ok?'

I didn't know his mum was picking me up at all, but it's sweet. 'Yep, 6.30 is all good, sneaky boy planning stuff without me knowing all the time!! How are Will and Jayden?'

':( Will isn't great. He's still a little sick, and his voice is struggling a tiny bit, but he's tough. And yes, I'm mysterious and sneaky and you love not knowing what I'll do next. I'm crazy!!'

'Oh yeah, you're nuts. I can't wait for the next time you plan for your mum to pick me up. INSANE!!'

'Sick boyfriend is sad :( I gotta go get ready. See you tonight if I don't get a chance to talk to you before x'

'Good luck! You'll be amazing :-) xo'

Oh my God. Julian's solo in the winner's single Surrender. Oh my God. This is my ultimate fan girl moment. He's sexy, flawless and totally owning it, his eyes sneaking over to my direction every now and then before he seems to realise that he's supposed to work the audience and camera.

The other performances are good, but nothing even comes close to the boys singing their winner's single, We Found Love or Brokenhearted. Again, in Brokenhearted, I scream like a crazed teenage girl (because I am). Julian's perfection, on stage and off.

Backstage I literally run and jump on him. "Oh my God!" I kiss him, not caring that everyone is watching and grinning away. "You were amazing!"

Julian smiles at me, looking so happy with himself. "I just, I mean, I can't even think of words to describe that. I just sang opening lines for what could be our single." Julian kisses me, still smiling.

"Oi where's my praise for doing good tonight?" Jayden teases.

At first I think he's talking to me, but then I remember the Bromance that is Jayden and Julian. I detach myself from my boyfriend and Jayden jumps on him.

"Sharing is caring," Jayden points out.

I can't be mad at him, he's just too cute. Eventually he releases my boy back to me, and everyone is happy. The place is buzzing, full of energy from tonight's performances.

"Hi Avery!" I turn and see Ronan giving me a huge smile.

I haven't seen him since his concert, so I have no idea how he recognised me or remembered my name. "Hey," I reply, and then I'm enveloped in an Irish hug.

Julian's off with his parents at the moment, so it seems that Ronan takes advantage of us being alone.

"I'm so proud of how far Julian's come," he states, looking at the topic of our conversation.
