'So nervous! :-(' Julian's text makes me smile, because he's so adorable.

'Don't be. You guys were amazinggggggg last night!' Of course with only 5 contestants left, it's pretty nerve wracking. But even if The Collective do end up in the bottom two, there's no way the judges could send them home. Right?

'lol look at you!' Julian teases, and then a picture of us acting like idiots last night comes through. I look like an absolute spaz cake.

'Destroy that photo. Burn your phone. Anything. Just don't let anyone ever see it.'

'I think it's time my twitter followers met my lovely girlfriend...'

"No!" I scream, then realise he can't hear me. Mum gives me a weird look. "I just lost Angry Birds," I say with a shrug.

'If you do that you will no longer have a lovely girlfriend'

':-( make a twitter so I can tweet you haha'

'Why don't you just text me? Twitter is weird'

'Just do it Miss Cranky Pants!'

I can't argue with that logic. I'll never even use it, but if it makes Julian happy, then I'll do it. I grab my laptop and set up a twitter account - MissAveryJ.

'Check your followers meanie head.'

Almost instantly I receive a notification saying that 'Julian De Vizio is now following you on Twitter!' Hooray, now my life is complete. And then, 'Julian De Vizio mentioned you in a tweet!' What is with Twitter and exclamation points?

'Everyone, meet my gorgeous girlfriend @MissAveryJ and be nice!' Attached is the picture of Julian kissing my cheek, and me giving him gooey love eyes.

'@JulianDeVizio you're a dork'

Almost immediately I start receiving notifications of mentions and follows.

'@JuliansGirl13: aw @JulianDeVizio I'm jealous! But @MissAveryJ is soooo beautiful. Cute!'

Huh? Is this actually happening? It happens a fair bit more - a lot of girls tweeting how jealous they are, but how cute we are together. I reply to as many as I can, since I don't have anything else to do. Just saying thanks and that they shouldn't be jealous because Julian is a goober. I'm sure he'll love me for that.

'Don't tell people I'm a goober :-(' Julian texts me.

'Hey you wanted me to join twitter. All your fault :-P Besides, you're a bit of a goober. But you're my goober so it's all good :-D'

'Don't make me post that charming picture of you... ;-) and as long as I'm your goober I guess I'll survive. I gotta go to rehearsals, but I'll let you know when I'm done and I'll see you tonight xx'

'Be awesome and all that jazz. See you later xo'

For the next couple of hours I become addicted to Twitter. I follow all of The Collective boys, and they all end up following me back - probably thanks to Julian. I follow a few other X Factor contestants and other celebrities that look interesting, as well as following some of Julian's fans who are sweet to me. I have a fair few followers of Julian that end up following me too.

Katie comes over after school and she's coming with me to the Decider show. Steph has netball practice that she can't skip, though she wants to. We get dolled up again, and I pull out my camera to take pictures of us acting stupid. We head off for a bite to eat before we go to the studio. We're in a similar area as last night, and we get settled in for the show.

The group performance of Turn Up The Love is awesome and Julian's solo is great! I can't even express how proud I am. Johnny Ruffo is really cool, and I make a note to download his songs when I get home. Then, it's time for the dreaded announcements. My body feels like it goes into shock when it's announced that The Collective and Shiane are the bottom two. I have to sit and endure Kesha while I wait, and I just want it to be over.

Katie's there, holding onto my arm, supporting me. I wish I could be there supporting Julian. But I know they'll do fantastically. I sit nervously as The Collective hit the stage. They're really good - like so good. The little dance moves, their vocals - all flawless. And then Will starts rapping again, and like always it's - oh my goodness. Julian is rapping with Will. I'm pretty sure I lose my shit. I scream, though it hurts like hell. Julian is just perfection, and if he tries to tell me otherwise, I'll punch him. When the performance is over, they all look nervous and devastated, but I'm sure they'll get through.

Shiane is nervous as anything, and her performance is far from fantastic, and it makes me feel so good, because there is no way The Collective can go home over her. I hope.

The Collective and Shiane walk back out on stage, and then Luke welcomes the TV audience back. The boys are all hugging each other, looking rather sick and scared. Nat's decision is first, and it's obvious where her loyalty lies. Next is Ronan, and again it's an obvious choice for him. Mel goes on for a little bit, talking about each act, and when she says she's saving The Collective I am so excited. Only Guy to go and I'll know if Julian and the guys are safe. Again Guy commends each act on how good they are, but when the words, "The person I'm sending home is you, Shiane," I go crazy with everyone else screaming for the boys.

Everyone hugs and cries on stage while Luke wraps up the show, and then it's over. I sit for a few minutes, composing myself, because I'm in a fair bit of pain from screaming and jumping up in excitement.

"Can I borrow your phone?" I ask Katie, who happily obliges.

I call Julian, not expecting him to answer, so I leave a message. "Hey, it's Avery. I'm so proud of you, you were amazing tonight. I want to stay and see you, but I'm not feeling great. But have a good night celebrating with the boys, and I'll talk to you later. K, bye." I hang up.

"You ok?" Katie asks, taking her phone back.

"Yeah, just need some rest," I assure her, then we get going.

As we're getting into Katie's car, her phone starts ringing. It's Julian, so I answer it. "Hey," I say, wincing as I put the seatbelt on. "I'm so happy for you guys," I say with a smile.

"Are you alright?" Julian asks, not even concerned with himself.

"Yes, I'm fine," I say adamantly. "I just need rest, and I don't want to ruin the mood for you guys tonight."

"You wouldn't do that. But as long as you're ok," Julian presses.

"Enough about me. You were amazing!" I gush, remembering Julian singing and rapping. "Who knew you could rap?" I smirk.

I can just picture Julian blushing a little, and looking around awkwardly. "It was a lot of fun."

"Are you guys going to celebrate?" I ask, scratching at my knee for no particular reason.

"Probably by sleeping," Julian says with a little laugh. "I'm beat."

"We're pretty awesome and hardcore, you and I," I say sarcastically, fighting back a yawn at the mere mention of sleep.

"Get some rest, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Night beautiful."

"Shall do. Night Julian." Call ended. I look over and see Katie staring at me out the corner of her eye. "What?" I ask, really confused.

"You two are adorable," she says with a grin.

"Righto." I roll my eyes and plug her phone in to play some music, then enjoy the drive home.
